2012 has at least two things going for it to make this coming year another one for the record books regarding the "Catholic vote" (remember that Pelosi, Kerry, Reid, et al) are counted in this voting bloc ....

1) it is the first Presidential Election ever following the uprising of the Tea Party Movement;

2) it is a referendum on the 4 years of a lying, Marxist poseur who can't run on 'hopeychangey' again (i.e. sometimes it takes a Carter to get a Reagan)

not yet. As the Dems go with this, the 52% of Catholics who vote Dem will switch over — as happened in Canada. This is a holdover from the days when the Republicans were the party of the “know-nothings” — staunch anti-Catholics
