lenny Bruce started off angry...that’s what led to his act.
His attitude seemed “bemused” to me, not angry. His hipster lingo, talking about music, drugs, race, sex, society, etc. His humor comes from seeing the ridiculous in the everyday, not from anger.
And no matter what his attitude was, there was no cause to arrest him for telling jokes to people who paid to hear his jokes. That is an absolute travesty - and makes ME angry.
