4 People Killed At Long Island Pharmacy
fox news ^ | 6/19/11 | FRANK ELTMAN

The massacre happened at about 10:20 a.m. inside a family-owned pharmacy in a small cluster of medical offices in Medford, a middle-class hamlet on Long Island about 60 miles east of New York City.

Police rushed to the scene after getting a 911 call from someone in the pharmacy's parking lot. When they arrived, they found two employees and two customers dead, said Suffolk County Police Department's Chief of Detectives Dominick Varrone. No one inside the shop survived.

Suffolk County Police identified the dead employees as Raymond Ferguson, 45, of Centereach, and Jennifer Mejia, 17, of East Patchogue. Bryon Sheffield, 71, of Medford, and Jamie Taccetta, a 33-year-old woman from Farmingville, were identified as the two customers.

Rene Mejia, of Medford, said one of the victims was his daughter, Jennifer. He said she worked part-time at the pharmacy while attending Bellport High School, where she was finishing her senior year.

"I don't know what happened," he said. "She was supposed to graduate Thursday."

The pharmacy, Haven Drugs, had opened for business at 10 a.m., and Varrone said investigators' initial belief was that a single gunman was responsible for the bloodbath, and that the motive was robbery. Just how the shooting unfolded, and why, were unclear, he said.

Why do video surveillance camers still suck so bad? My cheap cell phone takes better videos. And why aren't the cameras at face level.

Never mind. I don't want to hijack the thread. I'm just venting.

No, wait. If they were Tea Partiers, I'm sure that would've been mentioned in the story.

Give it time before some liberal NY ahole tries to tie it to the tea party - Oh wait, Gambling already tried to tie it to conservatives. See post #14

Same thing almost happened recently in Oklahoma City, but the Pharmacist was armed and killed 1 of the 4 robbers, while the others fled.

The Oklahoma pharmacist was prosecuted, but at least he and his coworkers are alive.

HEY New Yorkers! How's that gun control thing workin' fer ya?

“...In the liberal mind, any legislation which actually makes a problem worse is making it worse because there isn’t enough of it...”

You’re absolutely correct. Like Gambling’s, their responses are essentially reflexive, conditioned by lengthy immersion in cesspools of leftist mantras and behavior and involve little to no active thinking.

It is, after all, not good to make waves in cesspools.

He’s on the air to warp the minds of the innocent and
ignorant. Believe me, repetition has an effect even when
people think they aren’t susceptible.

He’s on the air because he has a generally interesting and easy to listen to program.....He also holds and states views on a variety of social issues that are more like those held by Conservatives. His views on 2nd Amendment issues are IMHO misinformed, stupid, rigid and more in line with those consistently expressed by the increasingly tiresome Mayor of NYC. Dr. Goebbels had it right on the effects of repetition, as do you.
