Jon Stewart appeared in his first Sunday morning news show interview ever with Chris Wallace, and unlike his often entertaining and jovial encounters with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly, this confrontation was a bit more heated. Wallace opened the segment suggesting to Stewart “you love to take shots at Fox News” and from there Wallace was determined to get Stewart to admit that the mainstream media has a liberal bias. Only one problem. When you look closely at the study, you discover what they mean by misinformed. When the government tells you that the stimulus bill created an increase in employment, and you don't believe them, you are considered misinformed...and then they provide some lame economist to back up their claim.

Wallace should know better, these media people live in a bubble and echo chamber of liberalism reverb.

It was the only part of the interview where we got the unvarnished and truthful Jon Stewart. Lets be real, for him to say that MSNBC only approaches bias but is not bias shows the incredible length to which this man goes to avoid saying that many media outlets are very biased. So, he reacts “angrily” that the greater majority of cable-news-watching Americans are “MISinformed” by fox yet he wants them watching MSNBC.
He is an entertainer, a comedian, and does a good job in comedy, what I wanted Wallace to do was ask him how it is he can’t be guilty of agenda just because he uses Humor, which is one of the MOST effrective ways to get the ignorant to get emotional about something. And Jon Stewart KNOWS THIS.
Actually, at the end of the interview he did admit precisely that. Other than claiming Fox viewers are the most ill informed, Stewart actually says the media has a liberal bias and agrees that conservatives are too often vilified as racists, etc.
