The Pigford Settlement: Obama's way to sneak through "slave reparation"

Acorn, Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign, and slavery reparations are the real agenda driving the Pigford Settlement, the multi-billion dollar Black farmers’ pay out according to conservative investigative journalist Andrew Breitbart.

Pigford was the lead plaintiff in the original class action suit against the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The distribution of subsidies in the early 1980s to mid l990s was at issue, with “sympathetic USDA administrators” agreeing to settle the case at taxpayer expense.

Breitbart recently told a radio audience these were the factors behind Obama’s largest fleecing of U.S. taxpayers in history.

Breitbart maintains Acorn is being used in this exchange of our dollars for solidifying the Black vote in the South, thereby blunting the conservatives’ hold on Dixie.

Breitbart claims the phrase “attempted to farm” was the prevailing mantra needed to enter the consent decree worked out by our government and lead attorney Al Pires who is the mastermind behind four different settlements according to the journalist.

Now keep in mind that while the government only lists 40,000 Black farmers in the ENTIRE country, there will be payouts to 90,000 “farmers” more than double those in the original Pigford settlements, which has now been reopened for the FOURTH time!

Only U.S. Representative Stephen King (R-IA) is stepping up to stop the fleecing of us taxpayers. He is saying this Pigford settlement is “full of fraud, that’s. . what it amounts to . .is paying REPARATIONS to Black farmers in America.” “We don’t do reparations in America,” King added.

Apparently, what’s happening now is the slaves are paying the slave owners.

I do wonder why Herman Cain supports this racist scam.

Wow, I sure hope this reparations thing goes through! and the sooner the better! Because then it would be only a matter of time until it's extended globally.

And then I'll get reparations for the way the Austrian Hapsburgs treated my ancestors.

And you folks of Irish descent will be getting money from the English. And you English will be getting money from the Norwegians to compensate for all those Viking raids.

And the Norwegians will be getting money from the Germans for the Nazi invation of 1940. And the Germans will be getting money from the French (Napoleon wasn't so nice to the German states).

Of course, the Germans will then have to give money back to the French for bad German behavior in 1914 and 1939, but we'll let the lawyers sort that one out.

Finally, justice for all.

That’s exactly what this is. Barry is keeping his base happy and “in the money” with these so called settlements (Pigford and Cobell) while he screws over the rest of us. I want to see the government bureaucrats who “discriminated” against these people in prison. Screw the “settlements”. We’ve got a big free money give a way going on here in Arizona to the Native American “farmers” who were “discriminated against. While all of this “discrimination” was going on, the Native Americans have bought up most of the State of Arizona. All of the big ranches are gone. The Native Americans have bought them. Somebody is bull****ing here! Why don’t you jerks in the so called “media” do a little of your “investigating” and look into these things?!

Which congressperson will give me $50K because I am growing dandelions in my grass? I will write them they will never know the color of my skin.

ALSO: in filling out job apps I am sick to death of the end part where they ask you if you are black. If you refuse to answer of nowadays you don’t get the job.

Also Col.. West!!!... are they both stealth moles?..

Did you forget your sarcasm tag.

I believe both are in support of the original action which would not be surprising ......I would like to see them both have a statement on it.

Col. West a mole......get real!

If I claim to be " black", how can anyone deny it?

I am darker skinned that a few of the "Black Leaders" I see on TV. And although someone might be able to trace my legal pedigree, there is no way to tell if my ancestors had mixed blood.

So I think every American who grows their own tomatoes, should apply for their fair share of this settlement.

Civil-rights activists see in such words a cry for justice. A more accurate description would be a shakedown.
As could have been predicted, other aggrieved classes of “farmers,” inspired by the original Pigford settlement, have brought forward civil suits of their own. In 2000, a group of Hispanic farmers (Garcia v. Vilsack) went to federal court to get their piece of the pie. The lead plaintiff, Lupe Garcia, a spokesperson for Justice for Hispanic Farmers, last year stated, “Tim Pigford knows exactly how much we have suffered from USDA’s decades of discrimination - because the same thing happened to him and his fellow African-American plaintiffs.” That same year, a group of women likewise filed suit in Love v. Vilsack. The plaintiffs are demanding compensation for USDA loan denials to women who farmed or “attempted to farm” during January 1, 1981-December 31, 1996 and during October 19, 1998-present. http://www.nlpc.org/stories/2010/03/08/lawyers-black-farmers-shake-down-taxpayers-agriculture-department-capitulates
