FULL TITLE: China's ghost towns: New satellite pictures show massive skyscraper cities which are STILL completely empty
As sprawling housing developments and skyscrapers in one of the world's most populous countries, these tower blocks and recently-built neighbourhoods should be busy and swarming with people.
But on closer inspection these stunning pictures show elaborate public buildings and open spaces which are left completely empty.
The most recent pictures of unused housing emerged as China announced plans to build 20 cities a year for the next 20 years.
And despite pictures last year showing some of the reported 64 million empty homes, Chinese authorities have since erected masses more buildings.
Gillem Tulloch, an aanlyst for Forensic Asia Limited, described one of the areas in Chenggong, as a 'forest of skyscrapers'.
When asked what has happened in the past six months since the ghost cities were built, he said: 'China built more of them.
'China consumes more steel, iron ore and cement per capita than any industrial nation in history.
'It's all going to railways that will never make money, roads that no one drives on and cities that no one lives in.
'It's like walking into a forest of skyscrapers, but they're all empty.'
Chinese government think tank have warned that the country's real estate bubble is getting worse, with property prices in major cities overvalued by as much as 70 per cent.
Tulloch said that apartments in Chenggong, a fishing village near Hong Kong, were selling for up to $80,000.

Someone’s going to have to start making some babies.
Wait, scratch that.
It’s okay if they stay empty a bit longer.
Sound familiar?
Ready for American slaves...
"Hey lady, you know that condo Obama promised you, all rent paid? Here ya go! And here's your phrase book. Report for PT at 6 am."
Foolhardy, or prescient? Time will tell. During the 1930’s IBM used its manufacturing capacity on faith that the economy would recover, kept using it even without the orders justifying it I mean, which seemed crazy at the time to many observers, but is what positioned them for success over their competitors when the economy improved. China’s making a bet by doing this; we’ll see if it works out for them as well as it did for IBM.
And friends ask if I will ever move back to the mainland from my island......
Maybe they are built in anticipation of American producers and entrepreneurs fleeing a thoroughly Obamified United States? Sort of like Texas is presently getting business and population fleeing blue states. A flight to the relative freedom, prosperity and order of the People’s Republic of China in 24 - 30 months?
A fine example of what happens when government bureaucrats make economic decisions.
More questions. Is China in trouble? If so, is that good for us or bad?
Three possible explanations come to mind:
1- Incompetent planning
2- Good ol’ boy corruption
3- Plans for war
Thank ,Bent Bill the commie traitor, Clinton for this!
China has its troubles; all countries do. Whether that’s good or bad for us should be less of a concern than our own troubles, QE3, gold and silver trading being restricted mid next month by leftist decree. Schadenfreude is not recommended because it’s a distraction from getting our own house in order. Certainly since they own so much of our debt our troubles are related to theirs. While our consumers have stopped buying, orders for what they’ve been manufacturing have slowed down, which slows down the rest of their economy.
And yet they are coming over here to build ... how many? ... cities?
Whazzzzzup widdat?
hmm, maybe they have all moved here.
Look, Bill Clinton has very little, if anything, to do with this. China had a pretty advanced technological base before he came in office. He allowed sale of missile guidance systems because we were having a satellite launch capacity shortage. Was it wise? Not in the long run. But was it total incompetence or treason? No.
Wrong ,he signed the MFN for the bastards,Put American engineers on their launch pads,Pushed American industry to set up factories on Chinese soil, allowed the sale of sensitive Technology Like Cray Computers,The Bastard needs imprisoned.
Thanks.
Can you say “Re-education camps”?
