Wow, he gave an Academy Award acceptance speech yesterday thanking everyone on the planet for their help and suppport and somehow the name Jesus did not come up.

Not that anyone suggested it would.

The man showed no contrition whatsoever. He is not sorry for what he did. He is sorry that he got caught.

Repentance involves acknowledgment that you have sinned against God and a genuine contrition not for the temporal consequences of your actions, but for the actions themselves.

Weiner didn't "repent".
