BTTT.
No mercy.
LOL!
I just not a fan of heckling. IMO, dead silence would have said so much more. Others can disagree, and obviously do.
Thunderbird?
Weiner just couldn’t cut the mustard.
Why did he fail where Clinton succeeded?
Weiner suffered a severe shrinkage of support
Less ice next time.. perhaps
Blah, blah, blah blah....
LOL!
Another product of the public school system. Lets see if the NEA uses Weiner as their poster child. Let us educate your children to ensure no morals or conscience.
When the enemy is on the ground, by your hand or a failing of his own.. finish him off."
YES!!!!
What about Palin in Madison, WI?
Can someone please fill me in as to why ANY of this matters????
Why does anyone care about this? Seems like a wag the dog to me.
Have no fear, the Weiner will rise again!
Oh the life of a social climbing vulture is never easy.
“not a fan of the heckling”
Why not? Solemn occassions deserve respect, but this is not one of those. Weiner has been wasting our time for weeks and should have resigned at the previous conference, thus he deserves ridicule.
Did Howard Stern send his reporters there? Too funny.........
I was referring to Democrats, sadly
It sure looked like it.
“I guess I’m all alone here but I could have done without the heckling. I never was a fan of piling on.
Isn’t the well-deserved public humiliation enough?”
Heckling is part of the well-deserved public humiliation. I’m not saying he should be heckled at the grocery store, while pumping gas, or in the bathroom. Let him return to a private life if he so chooses. But he’s not retreating; he’s still on stage. He’s attempting to dig the best possible outcome to his ordeal. Which gives the lie to your position, as it assumes that we’re all still piling on his original mistake. But we’re not. We’re piling on his continued fool’s quest to win the PR war.
First he denied, then he admitted without resigning, finally he resigned by retelling the epic story of his noble service. Each step involves mistakes, and each step deserves ridicule. By the way, even if he hadn’t been boring us to tears today, and had merely popped in to say two words, “I resign,” he’d still deserve ridicule. Because he should have resigned when he admitted he lied, and what doing so today proves is that he wasted our time in the meantime.
Whosoever attempts to hold an audience, unless as part of special circumstances like a funeral or somesuch, must abide the rule that audiences can snap back. The rudder of mass media is fickle, and the wheel can break your arm when you try to steer in bad weather. Weiner deserves none of our pity, not at any point or on any level. He was and will continue to be an ideological hack and media whore, nothing more.
oh my God... we looked at each other as that was yelled plus some other things. Well, you can’t blame people especially when people like Weiner have screamed and yelled and hollered at other people on the floor. Now he gets it back and he knows it’s not pleasant. But...what goes around comes around.
