When Rep. Peter King (R-NY) called a hearing on Muslim radicalism, he probably didnt expect Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) to turn the spotlight on Christian militants.
But thats exactly what she did Wednesday.
Jackson Lee noted that one witness who wrote a letter to the committee about the dangers of radical Islam in prisons had been arrested for bombing an abortion clinic.
Are you familiar with the Christian militants? she asked former New York Dept. of Correctional Services official Patrick Dunleavy. Can one might say that they might possibly want to undermine this country because right now the right for women to choose is a Constitutional right but people disagree with it but here is an individual trying to undermine the protections that are given to women? Would you suggest that might be compared to trying to undermine this country? Thats a possibility, is it not?
Well, I think that anyone that goes about killing in the name of God is an ideologue, Dunleavy admitted.
Rational people do not fear 'Christian Militants' in this country, as they generally don't exist.
The only people who spout this nonsense are trying to divert your attention from the real danger, namely an out-of-control tyrannical government, hellbent on increasing it's power.
'Christian Militants' is just code for anyone who objects to what they are doing.
Black inner city LifeCiminals are a far bigger threat to the foundational societal pillars of MY country, than any group of mythological white “Christian militants”.
I don’t know about YOUR country, Lee.
Hey! She might have a point ‘ya know what with the Salvation ARMY and all that. Heck, they even call the pastors Captains! /SARCASM
Periodic psychiatric evaluations should be required of all elected officials on a regular basis and the results of those tests placed in the public record.
Yes, that is the one. It really makes you wonder what her distict voters really think when they go into the booth.
Finally. Someone is Congress is onto the Lutherans and their fiendish plot to force everyone one to eat lutefisk.
I will give Sheila Jackson, one militant Christian and raise her thousands of Muslim militants.
Her argument is Bullsh!t and she knows it.
Hate to tell you this, but I am a Lutheran and have never had lukefish.
I’m telling you - what Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee is saying out loud is what the rest of the liberal elites are saying to each other. Homeland Security doesn’t care about Muslims - they don’t care about radical Muslims. Homeland Security is concerned with the type of citizen who will vote against a democrat.
I think so, she's also afraid that if we put too many troops on Guam, that it might tip-over and capsize.
Sheila, stick to topics that you understand, like astronomy...
How about ‘kloob’?
It was another Amish Congressman who asked of Guam would tip over because there were so many Marines on one side of the island.
And an articulate woman she is.
She is right, they do exist. They are very few and very far between, and they are almost universally condemned by their Christian peers. There have been eight murders in almost 20 years and a handful of property damage issues.
Furthermore, these misguided people are doing this specifically because they think they will directly save lives by killing the exact people who are killing babies. They are not randomly killing innocent, unrelated people in an effort to establish a Christian theocracy in this country, overturning our Constitution and destroying decades of civil rights advances.
Sure they both exist, but they are several orders of magnitude apart as far as the danger they represent to our country.
WHAT is the setting for this unbelievable photo—Sheila Jackson Lee, Al Sharpton, and BILL WALTON all in one place???
“WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?”
Nope, never heard of that either.
