I tuned into CNN to witness the exchange.

It’s amusing to be on the same page with Dennis Kucinich about something. Of course, I completely disagree with him as to why, but that only makes it funnier.

I think that this blogger is reaching a bit. I see nothing sexist in DK’s remarks.

The writer complains Kucinich owes the reporter an apology because he wouldn’t treat a male reporter the same way. I thought women’s rights were all about equality. I guess not.

Instead, Kucinich came off like a debate thug and a woman-hating know-it-all. The way he looked at Baldwin - the sheer hostility he showed - was totally classless and completely out of line. It's so funny to watch the lefties get their painties in a twist.

The leftist Ghouls go nuts when someone challenges Obama authority. How dare a congressman get mad at CNN’s pro Obama worshiping position.

Hah! I knew my Kucinich For Galactic Overlord campaign would revive! You doubters will come around, oh, yes you will, or the hive-sentient pterodactyls will dine on your quivering zarf-nodes!!
That said, the Munchkin from Marfark is right on the issue. Given the vigorous employment of small arms, artillery, armored vehicles, air and naval assets, and assorted man-portable explosive devices I'd gently suggest that what we have going in Libya isn't exactly a needlepoint party. Is it war if there aren't any troops on the ground (that we'll admit to)? Ask any Londoner circa 1941.

So if you bomb the crap out of any country, and specifically try to kill the leader of that country, that's not war. Ok. got it...i think?

They need to cut Kucinch off half way through whatever he’s saying and give equal time to the other side.

Bouvier's Law Dictionary, 1856 edition gives a pretty good working definition of
WAR:
4. War is not only an act, but a state or condition, for nations are said to be at war not only when their armies are engaged, so as to be in the very act of contention, but also when, they have any matter of controversy or dispute subsisting between them which they are determined to decide by the use of force, and have declared publicly, or by their acts, their determination so to decide it.
And that is clearly the case Obama pursues against Libyan ruler Qidafy! We are at WAR.

If its not a war, why is our military there shooting at things and people?
What was the point of the question other than to provide a legalistic cover for Obama that since the military conflict is not classified as a “war” then there is no need for the Pres__ent to seek Congressional approval?
This is merely a kinetic military action - no where near a war! I wonder if the term will appear in the legal briefs?

"That's a silly question," Kucinich angrily responded, and which completely lost any chance of this blogger's positive mention of Kucinich in this matter. "If it looks like a war, it's a war" he continued. Well, how can you argue with that? It IS a silly question. And if it looks like a war, it IS a war.
When they go in and shoot up troops, bomb buildings, kill several of Kaddafi's family, bomb schools and hospitals, and shell the coast, isn't that a war?
If a reporter acts like an idiot, she can't very well complain about being treated like one.
