Woo hoo!
Wisconsin’s Republican governor has won a major victory: the state Supreme Court says his polarizing union rights law can go into effect.
Gov. Scott Walker pushed the law that eliminates most of public employees’ collective bargaining rights and forces them to pay more for their health and pension benefits. He says it’s needed for the state to address its budget problems.
The law passed in March after weeks of protests that drew tens of thousands of people to the state Capitol. But the law has been tied up in the courts since a Democrat filed a lawsuit accusing Republicans of violating the state open meetings law during the run-up to passage.
The Wisconsin Supreme Court said the judge had no authority to interfere with the legislative process.

The difference between WI and CA...
You have a lib state SC in CA who allow the fags to uphold their immoral version of the law when the last judge has a conflict of interest because that same judge was a homo.
while WI SC upholds the law when a judge (Sumi) has a conflict in interest as her family are union members. This decision was awesome but we suffer here in mexifornia..
To: Jean S
Wow! A state Supreme Court that upholds the law. Who knew!

The story in the JS does not make a single mention of the fact that the Democrats walked out in an attempt to disable the Wisconsin legislature.

The court ruled that Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi’s ruling, which had held up implementation of the collective bargaining law, was void ab initio, or invalid from the outset.
In its decision, the state’s high court concluded that “choices about what laws represent wise public policy for the state of Wisconsin are not within the constitutional purview of the courts.”
The court concluded that Sumi exceeded her jurisdiction, “invaded” the Legislature’s constitutional powers and erred in halting the publication and implementation of the collective bargaining law.
How can i add to that?
