House Speaker John Boehner on Tuesday joined President Barack Obama and a chorus of other Democrats in suggesting that Rep. Anthony Weiner resign, while a member of Weiner's New York congressional delegation said she expects him to quit soon.
Boehner, who until now has let Democrats wrestle with Weiner's sexually charged messages and photos to several women, responded with a one-word answer when reporters asked whether Weiner should quit.
"Yes," he responded.
Earlier, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, D-N.Y., told reporters, "Hopefully, we are hearing he might resign in a couple of days." She did not say how she learned that Weiner may soon buckle under the pressure.
Weiner is seeking professional help at an undisclosed location. His wife, State Department official Huma Abedin, is due back from an overseas trip early Wednesday.

Yea once again hypocrite Boehner is late to the party. Just last week or the week before he didn’t want to talk about. He wouldn’t call for the congressman’s removal. He was going to hold himself above the fray. Now that everybody and their brother has called for Wiener’s removal, now that it’s safe, we hear from the courageous Boehner. What a putz.
Yeah I know but I think it would put the scare in Weiner and force him out.
That makes it easier to come back "cured."

Right. If it were someone like Palin, they’d have mega crews at the facility, with around the clock coverage. They’d have the therapist doing daily interviews, with interviews from his former professors, saying how little hope there is for recovery.

It’s hard to get into the humor when you know anything at all about German ... Boehner is pronounced something like BANE-er and Weiner should be WHINE-er, or VINE-er, if you want to get technical.
