Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann vowed again in her appearance on GMA this morning to repeal the job-killer known as Obamacare. Yet despite several valiant attempts by George Stephanopoulos to get Bachmann to say something, anything, critical about frontrunner Mitt Romney, she refused to get off message and ignored his question completely.
When Stephanopoulos asked whether Bachmann had any critique of Romneycare in Massachusetts, Bachmann instead repeated Obamacare will steamroll over all the state laws and suggested that what anyone else will do, or has done, is not relevant to her plans. .

Palin took on the corrupt Alaska GOP and won. No small feat.
There is also no set rule whether a Governor will make the best President. Remember Jimmy Carter? Bill Clinton?
Wrong. I just don't cotton to backstabbing. Rollins was a paid advisor to the Bachmann campaign. Palin has been an ally to Bachmann. It was pretty crappy for Bachmann to remain silent as Rollins bashed Palin - by any objective measure.
Are you both also the kind who when Palin does not get the nomination you'll take your bat and ball and go home?
Uh, no. If Bachmann were to win I would vote for her in the general, just as I would give the likes of Pawlenty, Perry or Santorum consideration. But I don't see Bachmann winning. Congresscritters don't do well in their efforts to win a national election on their first attempt, and Bachmann has shown a poor grasp of how to widen her constituency. Palin supporters are a natural overlap for Bachmann, and she has allowed Rollins to kick them in the teeth. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
She’s the real deal and doesn’t play “footsie” with anyone. But GOPers, even “friends”, will try to kick her to further themselves. As you pointed out, Palin has already played hardball with the big boys. And beat them.
So nobody likes Romney....
Sorry Romney fans.
Then to whom was that comment addressed??
Romney is way, way down on my list. But the reality is that the guy is good on his feet and appeals to a lot of folks other than the conservative based of the party. And even to some of them who believe he would be good on economic issues. It's one thing to say those people are completely wrong, but another to deny their existence.
This is exactly the reason I was so disappointed when Daniels decided not to run. Though not perfect, he's significantly more conservative than Romney, and was the most conservative guy who was popular among the GOP establishment. His not running may leave us stuck with a Romney/Bachmann (or Romney/some other acceptable conservative) ticket.
oh stop itttttttttttttt we are bashing obozo not ourselves get a life some of ya...............geez
A high percentage of my dirty socks would make more Constitutionally sound POTI than The Won.
If you wish not to participate in a discussion you are free to not do so.
Jim Robinson will not allow any campaigning for Romney on FR. Romney is not a conservative.
Why waste time bashing other Republicans when our energy should be spent on defeating B.H. Obama?
I imagine every candidate will say something we disagree with. Some much more than others.
Romney is a gun grabbing, pro-abortion, homosexual rights kinda Republican. Romneycare is the least of his problems.
“Um, I would beg to differ. Palin has been the loudest voice against Obamacare (see death panels). Not Bachmann. Not even close.
And futhermore, Palin has criticized ROmneycare, whereas Bachmann refuses to.
But nice try.”
As of today, Palin is not in the race. Also, Bachmann has actually voted FOR REPEAL. FYI - ObamaCare is the law of the land - NOT RomneyCare.
When Palin enters the race, I will have a tough decision to make. Today, my decision is easy. Of the current candidates I support Bachmann
I'm just talking about the realities of how things might turn out, not my personal preference.
We need to be proactive and make sure the press and GOP elites don't stick us with another Rino.
In other words, it [repealing obamacare] ain’t going to happen.
Romney changes positions like he does underwear. He's a Rino that the press and GOP elites are pushing. A McCain redux isn't going to fly.
As Mark Levin says, I’ll vote for an orange juice can over what we have now.
Never heard of Mike Church.
Democrats are lousy politicians and it doesn’t matter what title they’ve held. If it’s a democrat you automatically know that the country is going to be sold down the drain (and has been). There’s no argument about that because it is a fact. We are in the very situation precisely because of the louses (that and the traitorous Rinos). The only democrat that had any redeemable qualities (imo) in recent history was Zel Miller.
Thanks for the clarification and additional information DJ.
You left out amnesty. Nobody for amnesty and for admitting illegal aliens and masses of immigrants whose values clash with ours should ever be supported.
