They interviewed a guy on BBC World Service today who said Iranians were on the ground there. An eyewitness said men dressed in black with beards were there speaking a "strange language" that was neither English nor Arabic.

Clarification: The Iranians were spotted in one of the small towns near Jisr al-Shugour.
