An author of alleged childrens books needs to wash his mouth out with soap and find a new airline after dropping the F-bomb aboard an Atlantic Southeast Airlines flight.
The Detroit News reports Brooklyn author Robert Sayegh is thinking about suing the Delta Connection carrier.
According to the article, the 37-year-old, was flying from Kansas City to Newark when a flight attendant overheard him ask Whats taking so [bleeping] long to close the overhead compartments?
The plane taxied to the runway but returned to have Sayegh forcibly removed.
Sayegh told the Detroit paper he used the F-word twice.
Im like, Are they throwing me off the plane? This is the most ridiculous thing Ive ever been through in my life. Its embarrassing.
Sayegh, whos also a TV producer, said he is not a crazy maniac and that in New York we curse as adjectives.

Remember when women wore corsets? Ah, those were the days!
That’s the problem with stories like this. Nobody believes the story presented by Big Media anymore, so we don’t know what went on so we just project our own attitudes and prejudices onto the story and end up insulting each other.
Profanity is the crutch of inarticulate m*th*rf*****s.
Gee our old LaSalle ran great.
Good point.
i know! today you can't go anywhere without seeing women who let it all hang out... big flabby pierced bellies, the waistbands of their thongs, butt cracks with slut stamps... all out there for everyone to see...
Thanks,Delta!Way to go!Maybe this jerk will rent a car and drive to wherever he needs to go in the future.
I didn't see my post as insulting anyone - just reading between the lines and using common sense. I think the general tenor of most of the posts on this thread was that a large part of the story (ie. the other side) was missing.
Compare the language on democratic underground to FR. Liberals take pride in being scum.
Remember when our life expectancy was about 40, women were stoned for adultry, and Romans crucified people? Ah, those were the days!
(ie. the other side) was missing.
Corsets are not necessary to dress nicely.
Only if the earphones are offended. Don't want to hear it, don't listen. The same can not be said for someone saying something offensive out loud.
See post 31.
Agreed. And anyway, I’m okay with this.
It’s simple: stupid use of profanity in a public place toward someone doing their job is an indication of belligerance that it is often appropriate to address.
People are so unused to the idea of authority that it’s a good reminder sometimes that, yes, there are situations where SOMEONE IS IN CHARGE. And, you have to do it their way.
Pilots and attendants both know the signs of a passenger who may become a problem. They may not always make the right call, but I’m all for an emphasis on civil language as one path toward increasing public civility in general.
I used intuitive logic which has provided many, many, accurate conclusions in the past. If that bothers you.....well, you'll get over it.
I was flying out of NYC last week. We had just left the gate when some joker decided to throw up all over a couple seats in the back. He admitted to drinking all day without eating.
The idiot across the aisle from me ranted for the next 4 hours. Even while they made us deplane so they could clean up the bio-hazard.
A lot of what happens isn’t the airlines fault and cussing at them doesn’t help anyone.
