Well, hopefully the congress will not fund obamacare.

That is the prerogative of Congress. If the president believes a law to be unconstitutional he can direct the Solicitor General to challenge it in the Supreme Court.

He can't "repeal" it. So when a presidential candidate says they are going to "repeal" it, then they are asserting dictatorial powers.

Oh, geez. That Bachnamm forced laugh is getting on my nerves. Fraud, plastic, disingenuous.

Does the often cited guideline here that "they attack the one they fear" apply to all this Bachmann bashing?

Bachmann is a conservative and any ally. All this bashing is ridiculous, no matter who someone might support at this early stage.

Doesn’t matter if it sounds “heretical” or not. We know if Romney gets this the country is done in anyway...a vote for Romney IS the same as voting for Obama or any other democrat.

But this election is sure going to be a ride! The horses aren’t out of the gate...they just had an introduction......they all know the one to beat has yet to be announced.

Don’t be ridiculous. We people here and 800 others are even watching this.

I’m a Palin supporter but happy to see any real conservative doing well.

I never mentioned repealing obamacare.

But a President can do anything he wants to with an EO.

Spare me. Mrs. Bachmann’s performance was Bush League. She doesn't belong on the same stage with Newt, Santorum, Pawlenty. She is a B teamer with only one purpose.

Santorum handled himself well, but so did all of them.

Sarah could have been a part of this dog, pony and coughing show.

Wasn’t she smart to skip it?

Yep Bachman was, but if Palins running Backman is just keeping the seat warm IMO. Palin and Backman are in this to beat out Obama...they will even take pot shots at each other from time to time to make it look good to the media...but this election is as no other and the stakes are over the top. Both of them know this perfectly well. They are in this together and I’m not buying thier adversaries even for a moment.....it’s just part of the plan.

Not really, but Obama has already demonstrated the legal way to neuter Obamacare: just grant waivers to every state. He's sure made liberal use of waivers for his favored groups, well past 1,000 waivers granted the last I heard.

You know perfectly well that Palin has not entered the race yet.

She is waiting for the time when she feels it’s right to enter.

She didn’t lose anything by not being in the first debate and she will lose nothing by skipping this one.

Apparently Bachmann did.

But a President can do anything he wants to with an EO.

I suspect that most EO's are unconstitutional. Where in the constitution does it give the president the power to legislate by the use of executive orders?

An executive order is only valid if it is used to "faithfully execute the laws of the United States". If it is used to legislate or to undermine the laws of the United States, then those orders are illegal.

Yep, you are definitely an example of those who attack the one they fear.

After reading all the comments on how poor the moderator is, how lame some of the questions are, you are still harping on ‘she should have been there.’

Tomorrow ... everyone will still be talking about Palin and NOBODY will mention this lame debate.

Trust me.

Then there are thousands of EO’s that need to be undone.

I don't think it is possible though.

An EO can be written in such a way as to effect it's purpose with out legislating.

That's what slimy lawyers are for.

The sensitivites of some of Palins supporters needs to get in hand. They’re too quick to jump to conclusions...if anything they need to emulate Palin who gets the facts before she spouts off.

This is a game to win...but it is still ‘a game’ and the republican players are going to be deceptive at times, which includes Palin. They will appear at times to be opposing each other...though they all know the idea is to get our candidate into office.

So the Palin supporters need to see the trees thru the forest....sometimes they can’t see thru their admiration of Palin to the actual game moves she’s playing until after she’s played them..... These two are going to play off each other and make certain either one has the ball all the way down til touchdown, IMO.

Remember Palin saying they have to learn how to fight like a girl....tsk tsk....

Libertarians, as I understand it, would might want state laws to be removed, of Federal Laws legalizing certain things, removing state laws. Ron Paul just wants to remove the Federal Laws.

Well, that clears it up.
