The frustrating thing is that I did exactly that. I moved my family to Idaho. We're well prepared...except my contracts evaporated when Obama took office. I've had to plant my butt in the company office building in San Diego to stay employed. As of yesterday, I'm now renting a room in Clairemont too. Not a happy condition. San Diego is not going to be a safe place when the SHTF. Our previous conversations about the mix of demographics causing unclear divisions of loyalty and a very volatile civil war environment are elements that are present.

As long as you can “punch out” of SoCal and land in Idaho...you’ll be way ahead of most of us in the Survival Stakes.

I have lots of loved ones in San Diego. One in Poway. One in La Jolla. Some near El Cajon.
