LOS ANGELES Texas Gov. Rick Perry, who has been mentioned as a potential Republican presidential candidate, is accusing the Obama administration of transforming abortion into a U.S. export and breaking faith with the nation's founding principles by supporting taxpayer-funded embryonic stem cell research.
Perry, a prominent conservative long at odds with President Barack Obama's stand on reproductive rights and stem cell research, spoke Sunday to a mostly Hispanic crowd of about 5,000 at a Los Angeles anti-abortion rally.

Perry didn't.
reproductive rights ... stem cell research ... anti-abortion rally.
This jerbilists’ choice of words is telling.
Is that Chuck Norris in the pic with Perry? Since the Huckster isn’t running, is Norris backing Perry now?
Most of those in attendance were Hispanics, a good percentage of which are no doubt illegal aliens and or open border supporters.
I find it interesting he is address this group, when his own state is being over run with illegal aliens, with a conga-line of millions coming to have their anchor babies.
In Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, nearly 1000 anchor babies are being delivered every single month...At just one hospital, all at tax payer expense.
Then Perry goes into LA, to basically speaking against abortion, yet not a word is said about the millions that are choking off Texas social services, hospitals, jails and schools and health care facilities.
It's seems clear, Perry is pandering to the Hispanics and the illegals for support, at at a huge cost to the tax payers.

Why on earth do you assume this? Perry is speaking to a United for Life pro-life event with a largely Hispanic audience, what makes you think a "a good percentage of which are no doubt illegal aliens and or open border supporters"? Are all largely Hispanic events full of illegals and open border folks? Should Republicans not reach out to Hispanic audiences - especially ones that already appear to be social conservatives?

Do we really have to speak about illegal immigration at EVERY function? Good grief man, this was a pro-life event and the topic was abortion not the borders.
It's seems clear, Perry is pandering to the Hispanics and the illegals for support, at at a huge cost to the tax payers.
Well, I got bad news for you, we are going to have to appeal to Hispanics to be competitive going forward. We can't lose this demographic the way we have blacks. There just aren't enough white people left, and definitely not enough white people moving to the Republican party fast enough to offset the explosive growth of the Hispanic population. No one wants to pander to illegals, but building up good will among social conservatives in the Hispanic community seems like a darn good way to make inroads with this voting block.
Sort of like the cut of Perry’s jib.

Don't be stupid. LA is full of illegal Hispanics and millions of legal Hispanics who support open borders. This is no secret. Given the fact that he had to have an interpreter repeat everything he said, should be your very first clue.
Even the Mayor of LA is pro-illegal alien. Hello? Time to wake up.

Wanna stick your head in the sand huh?
The tax payers who are now on their knees, say yeah, it should be addressed at EVERY function.

Appeal?
Competitive?
How'd the U.S. become the worlds super power and economic power house for most of the century? Was it because of Mexico? I don't think so.
You want to "appeal" to those that are disrespecting our country, that are costing us hundreds of billions, many of which literally want to take this country over without firing a shot? Feel free.
Instead of appealing, and continuing to kiss their butts, we need to secure our borders from the real violent threat from Mexico, and stop *all* tax paid benefits to the millions of disrespectful illegal Hispanics from Mexico that are choking off our *entire* system.
Tell me, will you be sending money to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas, where nearly 1000 anchor babies are being delivered every single month? Or are you going to "appeal" for someone else to do that?
I find it even more interesting that Perry is playing up a pro-life angle when he campaigned for an abortion champion like Rudy Giuliani back in 2008, going around and telling Americans that Giuliani was the right choice for President.
Interesting huh?
