Thank you for posting this. I have long thought that the FDA should be abolished. Now I am 100% certain that it should. The FDA and NCI (those involved in this harassment) should also be indicted for mass murder.

As one other example, the FDA, with lots of political pressure, approved FEN-FEN, a diet drug previously known in Europe, and known to many if not all of the FDA board, to produce dreadful pulmonary hypertension and eventual painful death, or enduring heart disease in "patients". Hundreds of thousands of young people died as a direct result of using this "approved" drug.
Blood on the FDA's hands most assuredly. Folks, this agency is in the thrall of the pharmaceutical industry, and has not a whit of concern for the people, supposedly protected by its guardianship. At least as evil and rapacious as Fannie Mae, and the rest of the federal rip-offs, staffed with crooks, "serving the people."
