Secretary of State Hillary Clinton renewed the demand that was the highlight of Obama’s May 26 Middle East policy speech: that Israel accept the 1967 lines as the starting point for future Middle East peace negotiations.

Then there'll be no negotiations. One would think that fact would've sunk in by now.

He’s gotta do something to earn his Peace Prize. If this is the starting point, Israel just ignores him ‘til he goes away, and hopes it’s not too late.

I think we can see the handwriting on the wall.

This Fall the UN will vote on whether to accept the Palestinians. I suspect they will even draw up their borders.

I don’t think it’s a security council vote but a general assembly vote. I don’t know how many votes are needed.

It really escapes me why the Palestinians have such a strong lobby, when they have no country, no leverage. It must be pure and simple that people in power hate the Jews.

BUT HERE IS THE BOTTOM LINE:

I fear that the US will threaten Israel that they will vote for the Palestinian State.

On the other hand, Obama will probably vote present.
