Obama bullies Israel; so much for promises at AIPAC
The Washington Post ^ | Jennifer Rubin

Posted on 06/12/2011 6:45:48 AM PDT by CitizenReporter

Since the president’s Arab Spring speech, friends of Israel have been nervous about at least two issues: the promise Israel would not have to sit down with those who seek its destruction and the negotiations based on the “1967 borders with land swaps.” This weekend it became apparent that there is much to worry about and that the Obama administration has been playing a game usually practiced by the Palestinians, namely telling its domestic audience one thing and the negotiating parties something different.

The Washington Post quotes a story from the Washington Times? And does so factually and professionally?

We live in interesting times

It's amazing people even LISTEN to this serial liar; to say nothing of BELIEVING him!!!

Compared to the liar Bill Clinton was -- and most every time he opened his mouth, it was a lie -- Bambi's lies make Clinton look like a choir boy.

Most of Obama’s promises are worth less than dirt.

Ya think We The People would be wise to ask for an investigation into the motivations and links, past and present, that Hussein could have to the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Al Qaeda? It might explain Hussein’s efforts to weaken and even destroy Israel. Obviously, these groups want to destroy Israel and the Jewish people. What part does Soros, the Kapo, and other Regime Muslim-sympathizing Czars play in this attempted effort to weaken a US ally?

The New York Times and the Washington Post are digging through those records right now, looking for any evidence of scandalous connections. Oh sorry, that would be Sarah Palin's records they're looking through.

Yes dirt has some value. You can grow things in it, and it contains vital nutrients for plant life, and one can even use dirt to bury the dead.

Obama’s promises, on the other had, are worth less than you-know-what, which at LEAST has some value as a fertilizer.

Yes, dirt has value. You can actually buy it at the garden store. And the world just woldn't be the same without dirt. :-)

Ping:

“This is a very, very big deal. Former deputy national security adviser Elliott Abrams explained to me Friday evening: “I hope news reports of what the Obama White House is privately demanding of Israel are wrong. If the reports are right, the U.S. is now abandoning the Quartet Principles — and asking Israel to negotiate with a Palestinian side that includes Hamas without Hamas taking one single step away from terror. The Palestinian ‘concession’ if these negotiations start would be to pull the plug on seeking U.N. membership.” Moreover, it is a “concession” with very little meaning. Abrams told me that the Palestinians “can’t get U.N. membership if the U.S. vetoes it, so this looks like a desperate White House effort to avoid having to veto.”

And like clockwork, Obama’s position now becomes the Palestinians’ latest precondition. It’s almost like they are on the same team....I spoke to Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.), who plainly was angry over the continued effort to bully Israel. He said in a phone interview, “President Obama never learns. His real instinct is to weaken Israel. You don’t treat an ally this way.” He said he has never seen this sort of behavior from any U.S. president.

Almost on the same team?

Dear citizens of the world. We, the American people, disown the clown who roams the world claiming to represent us. We don’t understand how he gained access to the presidency, and we are pursuing evicting him on or about January 21, 2013. In the meantime, please pay no attention to his childish rantings. We don’t pay any attention to him because you cannot believe anything he (or his supporters) says.
