JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - There are no bombshells, no "gotcha" moments.
The emails of Sarah Palin - more than 24,000 pages of them released Friday by the state of Alaska from her first two years as governor - paint a picture of an image-conscious, driven leader, closely involved with the day-to-day duties of running the state and riding herd on the signature issues of her administration.

Like Al B. pointed out, A/P has used Palin and LEADER in the same sentence!

She knew what was in these emails. I’m almost convinced — especially with the release date being pushed back from May 31 to June 10 — that she may have incorporated this into her rollout strategy. Free media rules! LOL.

Sounds like the best ones need to become a paperback book. SHowing her patriotism, love of the troops, anti-her repub establishment chops, the death threats against her,,etc etc.
Maybe we can make the libtards pop a critical vessel?

That fact has been all but scrubbed from Google as far as I can tell.Nope. Just Google "2007 most popular governor".
To: jimjohn
Palin comes across as very likable and sensible in the handful of emails included in the article.
Thanks media jackals for the unpaid Palin promo!
Maybe we could find a way to generate energy from the jourbalists. We could put the whole gaggle of them on a treadmill, then dangle some tantalizing bit of Palinalia in front of them. Their desperate scampering could probably light up a city until they collapsed from exhaustion.

Thanks. I knew she was most popular governor, but didn’t know which year, so the google search I did did not yield results.

WOW! I know it was there back in 08 - I read about it.I remember reading one poll had her approval at 93%. It was reported she had the highest approval of any Governor in the United States.

This may be a first for the MSM. They’ve always been able to contort and smear given a handful of memos or emails - they probably had to call off booze bashes they planned to have after rolling in the mud etc.

Drudge Report says her emails contain death threats - I guess the AP et. al would like to give that as little air time as possible.

Vote Palin. Unlike Obama, Shes been Vetted. Great campaign slogan I, for one, hopes she uses something very similar.

Governor Palin could not have orchestrated this series of events any better. It has caused me to remember and reflect on an article I read several years ago about this country's history and how days, even minutes have meant the difference in life and death, success and failure of people and events critical the nation's founding and development. The only explanation for so many near misses redounding to our benefit could have been Providence.
I am beginning to believe that the hand of Providence is also guiding the events surrounding Governor Palin. To what end of course we don't know. All Freepers (and Americans) of faith need to pray without ceasing for this woman, her safety, her well being as well as discernment in her decision making. She may well be a gift to us created "for such a time as this".

Yahoo recently posted an AP story regarding the lack of bombshells, and surprisingly, the reader comments were extraordinarily in favor of Palin, even among those that admitted not liking her. I went through a few pages, and noticed only a few comments that addressed negative comments further down the line. It was a welcome reprieve to see such a streak of decency on behalf of a good woman.
Every day forward with Sarah Palin is gift, but we must all realize the infinite preeminence she has unmasked; that which we all see in the mirror every morning of every day.
