I think that Pelosi and the Dems had to be incredibly stupid and naive to believe the Weiner! When he first opened his mouth I knew he was lying.

I have been told that Weiners have no conscience.

One of the analysis during the initial stage was that Pelosi, Reid, & Co. were mad because Weiner's "problem" disrupted the news cycle that they were trying to spin one way or another.

I can't remember the non-salacious issue that the Dems were pimping at the time.

——I think that Pelosi and the Dems had to be incredibly stupid——

Perhaps the stupid error was not believing. The stupid error might have been hoping. They hoped the lies would sweep the issue under the rug.

It is not unreasonable to believe a woman who believes in hope and change would not hope for Weiner
