San Jose, Calif. (AP) --

Mexican President Felipe Calderon is in the San Francisco Bay area where he spoke at a San Jose job training center about immigration issues and other topics.

Speaking at the Center for Employment and Training on Saturday, Calderon told a crowd of more than 600 people that walls or what he called "abusive laws" will not stop people from migrating to the U.S. He told the gathering that Mexico needs more labor opportunities.

Yeah, it is alright to have tough immigration laws for Mexico but the US is racist for having immigration laws of her own./SAR

What a frickin' slime ball and the people listening to him are just as bad. I bet not one of them called him on his obvious hypocrisy.

He told the gathering that Mexico needs more labor opportunities.

Then do something about the rampant crime and corruption in your backward nation.

Most of his people are here in the US so it would be reasonable he is speaking in the US.

I wonder how Senor Calderone would feel if we sues his country for all the money his people are stealing from us. He needs to take care of the human righrs violations in his country before he shoots his mouth off about abusive laws!

Why isn’t this lowlife down in Mexico worrying about his OWN damn country. We can worry about ours. If he was doing his damn job, Mexican Nationals wouldn’t have to risk their lives trying to sneak into the United States.

It is actually a violation of unwritten international laws. The leader of a country can't just hop across the border for an impromptu rabble-rousing meeting with criminals. What country, aside from this one, allows that?

Iran just today said "no, you may not go visit our political prisoners." China denied tons of requests, including a weather-related visit of an aircraft carrier. If you just criticize them remotely, from a podium in Washington, the US Ambassador immediately reaches for his briefcase because he knows that the summons for a tongue-lashing are only minutes away. But Mr. Calderon delivers his accusations from within the USA, and nobody in the government seems to care. Countries recall ambassadors over less.

Israel for some reason acts like they have authority over who comes into their country. But the USA is quickly falling into the category of failed states because one of the criteria for such a label is inability to control their borders. It is pretty obvious that you can't be a government of an independent country if you are not in control of the most essential factor - who is allowed to be in your country.

Senor El Presidente...

I have one question for you...

Where is the national pride and honor of the Mexican people...?

MEX_FAIL1

****************

You should issue the call for your people to return to their homeland...

I just finished watching the last episodes of the TV series `Jericho’ on Roko.
Makes me want to fly my Gadsden flag tomorrow. I saw one on the way home from work the other day.

The SOB has the gall to show up in our State and criticize our laws and national security?

He should be formally requested to leave immediately as an unwelcome individual and considered a threat to national security.

Will the current Secretary of State do what she should, or will she continue worrying about her aide's family problems instead?

Forgive me for sounding crass but why isn’t this crudball giving speeches in his own country about building Mexican infrastructure and attracting business so they can offer jobs to all their citizens. Then they won’t have to worry about helping them illegally enter our country.
