She was hands-on and averse to partisan politics. She championed openness in government and had normal relations with the media. She was a little starstruck by her interactions with national politicians but unafraid to do battle with the chief executives of the world’s largest oil companies

The emails from her governorship, released Friday, brought back the memory of a long-lost Palin: the popular, charismatic, competent woman of the people.

Far from being a knee-jerk partisan, she praises then-Sen. Barack Obama for his energy ideas — “pretty cool,” even though he is the “wrong candidate.” She derides the Republican establishment just weeks before being picked for the ticket, writing, “we need to remember the GOP, for the most part … especially the AK machine … has not had any support or assistance provided our administration so our time and efforts will continue to be spent on serving Alaskans, not party politics.”

Palin has stated climatechange is occurring but thinks it’s natural and not manmade. And she is right we are at the tail end of an interglacial period that has asted about 20,000 years.

There was another email where she said that she had been asked if she was attending a soldier’s funeral, and was embarrassed that she knew nothing about it. She sounded pretty mad that she hadn’t heard anything about it, and wanted to get things set up so she could attend when “my boys” are either shipping off, or there is a memorial service for them. (Turned out there was a monthly memorial service for them).

The media smeared Palin and her family and now they call her a shrew because she is now media savvy and knows better than to trust them because they will distort anything she says.

After the Charlie Gibson interview, the MSM was claiming “Palin wants to go to war with Russia”

I would like to see any politician undergo the scrutiny that Palin has and come out of not only clean, but stronger and wiser.

Now it’s your turn Obama - release your college transcripts and emails for starters and let’s see how clean you come out of it.

The MSM has NEVER sunk to such depths before and they ended up with egg on their faces and are now trying to spin it into “Palin was electronically raped by us, and now she’s vindictive towards us. What a bitch!”

Not to mention the attacks on her kids.

Just like he stole Romney's ideas on health care reform. I did not consider it a plus for Romney when he Obama stole his ideas and I do not consider it a plus that he stole Sarah's. Those ideas include the 2007 Order on climate change, which called for seeking federal funding of such schemes as carbon registries and joining carbon trading markets. (basically cap and trade)
