This is the Telegraph, not the Guardian. Both somewhat lefty, but the Guardian MUCH more so. It’s considered socialist/communist in most circles, whereas the Telegraph is more New Labour, IIRC.
“Both somewhat lefty, but the Guardian MUCH more so.”
Way mo! The spin they’re applying at the Guardian is truly stunning!@
From the BBC:
DAILY TELEGRAPH Circulation: 814,087 Political allegiance: In recent decades it has been seen as Conservative through and through - known as "The Torygraph" to readers of Private Eye. Stayed loyal to the Conservatives in the last two elections, when others didn't. Hugely critical of Labour and Gordon Brown. Its pages have not been uncritical of David Cameron, but it is expected to champion him at the next election. It was a strongly Liberal paper in its early days, so much so that it used to describe Gladstone as the "People's William".
OK you've broken out the good stuff, right?
If the Telegraph was any more Tory, they'd print it with blue ink.
The Telegraph is viewed as "right wing" in today's Britain - no joke.
The Guardian is of course the leftists' mouthpiece, especially those who have been to school and use words of longer than four letters.
