n late March of 1996, The Center for Democratic Renewal (CDR) and the National Council of Churches (NCC) held a joint press conference to report a huge increase in the number of arsons committed against black churches. In media interviews, the Rev. Mac Charles Jones, a CDR board member, ... Great read. These organizations have the same people leading each others boards and providing an echo whenever needed.
Rev. Jones (NCC) died in Irving TX 6 months after the "burning churches" was proved falsified.
The CDR started out as the National Anti-Klan Network and closed its door in March 2008, after running out of dupes to blackmail for cash and walk around money.

Thanks for the followup info - I wasn’t aware when the CDR had finally shut down. We still have the SPLC, of course.

Check out
this 1997 NYT article on Jones's death. Jones "aided burned churches," don't you see, after he "learned that the center had detected a surge in church arsons." It's all propaganda all the time at the Slimes.
