Sarah Palin snubs Elisabeth Hasselbeck and she is not taking this gracefully

Sarah Palin is refusing to return calls to Elisabeth Hasselbeck and this is upsetting the lone conservative voice on the cast of “The View.” When Palin needed her, she was all over Hasselbeck for interviews, now she is snubbing the one person who was very supportive of her on the daytime talk fest, according to the LA Times.

Palin is giving Hasselbeck the cold shoulder and she is “miffed” at this, reports the Times. Hasselbeck feels used by Palin, who was once had a work related friendship with the former Alaskan governor. Now Hasselbeck has reached out several times to Palin, who appears to be ignoring her in return.

Hasslebeck did complain that Palin’s bus tour was distracting from Mitt Romney’s message, but this might be because Hasslebeck is upset at Palin for ignoring her attempts to get in touch with her.

This is what Hasselbeck had to say about Palin, of course this is after Palin has refused to return her calls: "If I had termites in my house, I'd get someone in there who could deal with it," Hasselbeck said. "Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy. I'd have him in there. Here's why we're not hearing it: because Sarah Palin's on a bus and right now she's manipulating, in terms of media attention."

This type of flippant remark probably wouldn't have come from Hasslebeck about Palin if the two were still on good terms.

Connecticut residents got a quick glimpse of Palin on her bus tour when she stopped in Cromwell, Connecticut to gas up the bus. A crowd gathered because the bus stood out like a sore thumb. Paling got out of the bus and mingled with the Connecticut citizens that stopped by to say hi.

Bachmann hired Ed Rollins who promptly trashed Sarah Palin and Bachmann is running to be Romney’s VP. How’s that for your full package?

She is smart, great on camera

That is when she can figure out the one she is supposed into which she is supposed to be looking.

BTW, what is that dark spot between her two top, front teeth? Sorta of offputting, don't you think?

"Mitt Romney, right now, his specialty is the economy"

Total falsehood. Willard's specialty is Willard.

I never thought I’d see all the conservative women snipping at each other. First, Ann Coulter dissed Palin, by suggesting she shouldn’t run for President. In one breath Coulter will praise all Palin has done, but then claims she won’t be running and shouldn’t be. Then we had last summer Conservative commentator Andrea Tantaros say Palin would be better off getting her own tv show instead of getting being President. She said Palin will not president or something to that effect. Then Michele Bachmann hired a strategist who insulted Palin. And now this. Seems for the past year Elisabeth has, for some reason, been given the cold shoulder by Sarah Palin. It is not the first time Elisabeth was unhappy with Palin not calling her or being friendly to her. And Elisabeth was supporting her before. Just wild times. Because now it seems the squabbling between some high profile conservative women will continue. And as my examples prove it is aimed at Palin at the moment.
You would think they would all be united, but they aren’t.

Look, Ladies & Gentlemen, the fight for the Republican nomination is going to be brutal. Facts, Obama is toast. Actually the Democrat Party is also toast, unless they step up and force Obama to resign. The media has nary a clue. Whoever gets the Republican nomination is the next POTUS. The American people will not destroy Obama at the polls, they will devastate both him and the Democrat Party with a massive defeat. Shucks, The Conservatives and Republicans alone will bring down Obama with a massive turnout of voters. Add to that a good percentage of the independent voters and Obama will be lucky to carry five to seven states. Now......this can change, but...only if the Democrat Party brooms Obama now....or in the very near future. So....count on the Pubbies going at it big time for that Pubbie nomination!!!! Fasten your seat belts, and tell the kiddies to stay tuned. They are going to see a once in a lifetime election!!!!

It would have been smarter for Palin to invest in a 5 or 10 minute phone call. Payback isn’t always the best policy.

To 60 - Note the paradox, i.e., with The Guardian stating that Thatcher won't meet with Palin it is of course a generated and false story from the Leftists. Yet in this case, *they* are more than willing to vilify Elis. Hasslebeck.

The Thatcher story used an unnamed source. In this story, there is a named source, with a direct quote.

Perhaps *these posters* you speak of are "vilifying" Elis because they legitimately don't like what Elis said about Palin, the bus tour and Romney.

Your post #36.

For those who would like a few real facts,it certainly does indicate why there could be disquiet on Sarah Palin's part. Once in a while Elizabeth will make the most obvious and easy defence of Sarah. This when the attacks are so vicious and blatant, anyone with any decency would concede they are wrong.

As for the rest of the View, one could indulge in a realm of fantasy. They could be reincarnated French harridans circa 1790. Crying and screaming for some poor wretch to mount the steps to the guillotine. Dickens gave us the most fearsome of them all, one Madame Theresa Defarge. Worse than the men, she was. A couple of candidates who are on the View for that position.

What a scary bunch, perhaps some are too severe on fair Elizabeth. This with the raucous screaming from the audience. Surely she can do something better than the View!.

This is a blog, not news. In fact, it’s a very poorly written blog. The Examiner is a crap website that I refuse to click on because it could lock up a Cray supercomputer for an hour while it loads all the adware, spyware and cookies. This non story has gotten more reads on Free Republic than it will ever get anywhere else at any time.

The only reason it’s gotten any replies are Palin in the headline, Hasselback pictures and the fact that FReepers love to rant about imagined slights, usually made up by liberals to watch conservatives shoot themselves.

This article is just the Liberal press trying to sow friction among Conservatives -- just like the recent Thatcher article.

Don't take the bait!

Hasselbeck supports TARP. Romney does. So Hasselbeck does.

Hasselbeck supports RomneyCARE. Romney does. So Hasselbeck does.
Hasselbeck supports RomneyMarriage. Romney does. So Hasselbeck does.
Hasselbeck supports Obama. Romney does. So Hasselbeck does.
Hasselbeck supports Global Warming Hoax. Romney does. So Hasselbeck does.

It's simply Sarah Palin using her God-given common sense. Elisabeth Hasselbeck has publicly criticized Palin, quite a few times. Hasselbeck is obviously a Romney supporter. This being the case, Sarah Palin has absolutely no reason to want to appear on The View, where she would be forced to engage in a futile shouting match with a gaggle of leftist harridans that despise her and everything she stands for. It's a pretty safe bet that, in that situation, Liz Hasselbeck, no conservative, wouldn't be much help. So, Palin ignores Hasselbeck's calls - and the little Primadonna has a snit. Too bad. She'll get over it. Sarah Palin doesn't need 'friends' like Elisabeth Hasselbeck - and she knows it. Good move, Sarah!
Worth repeating. Excellent post.
