32 dead in Syrian crackdown and assault on north

BEIRUT – Syrian forces shelled a town in the country's restive north and opened fire on scattered protests nationwide, killing at least 32 people on Friday, activists said. Hundreds of Syrians streamed across the border into Turkey, trying to escape the violence.

The responsibility for the violence is ours. We have supported so-called “freedom” movements in other countries in the area, mostly just cover for terrorists to take over. The attack on Libya was a huge mistake that needs to be stopped, not repeated everywhere else.
