In a devastating act of ultimate revenge, a dying Elizabeth Edwards recorded a bombshell secret videotape for prosecutors nailing her cheating husband John as he will stand trial on charges that could land him behind bars for 30 years.
Thats the stunning secret behind the federal indictment brought against the disgraced former presidential candidate on June 3 following a two-year grand jury investigation into whether he illegally used campaign funds to cover up his affair with his then-pregnant mistress Rielle Hunter.
Elizabeth wanted to exact revenge against John for destroying their 33-year marriage and family by cheating with Rielle, source close to the scandal told ENQUIRER.
It was Elizabeths idea to secretly record a video and tell what she knew of the affair and Johns horrific betrayal.

What about the right to confront your accuser?
I'd bet it's more like accomplice.
She knew .... I”m reading Andrew Young’s book!
It is evidence for a jury to weigh. Again it depends upon what is in it.
Ohh yeah, I can remember being about 13 and watching Mod Squad....only to drool over Ms. Lipton. Might as well had the sound off.
>>> Keep in mind this is simply a rumor reported by the National Enguirer.>>>
Um, keep in mind that it was the Enquirer who led the entire media to this very story. In this case, the Enquirer IS THE media.
If she tells the truth on the video, how is that evil? He is the evil one, lying from the beginning.
///
seems the operative word is “IF”.
...i certainly think Edwards is slimy enough and deserves enough punishment from God, just for all the good decent doctors that he hurt, with his false accusations in court.
however, SHE was also a lawyer, and quite capable of lying. and she clearly had a motion and emotion enough to lie.
(and many here have noted, that she seems to place hurting him, even over what is best for her own children.)
...the rate of false accusations for rape, are much higher than most know, and often it is to simply cover up for their boyfriends
(like that girl last year, who accused the 5 college students, until video proved she was lying (and she admitted it).
certainly, for more hatred, a person could lie even more.
and how many women lie in divorce cases, accusing the husband of wife and even child abuse, falsely?
(like that woman that even got a phone in her ex’s name, and sent threatening texts to her own phone? he was arrested. but eventually, she was found out, and sent to prison for 7 years.)
...i don’t really care, if she was lying or not. i think both of them, are despicable people. she almost helped that man, to become OUR President.
i simply point out, that some or most of what she said, may be a lie.
and as a lawyer, she was very capable of taking her time, to make it very believable.
and while i don’t care about her, or him,
i DO have the same concerns Mark Levin expressed about this case.
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.
Hebrews 8:12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.
Jeremiah 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake; and I will not remember thy sins.
God will FORGIVE our transgressions, he does not forget them. I’m sure you can quote that vese as well. We will face an accounting.
She may have been lying. She may have been telling the truth. I don’t know. But even if she was telling the truth, this reflects a bitter desire for vengeance. I am only noting that carrying a desire for vengeance to the grave and beyond is very damaging to the soul. Forgiveness is terribly hard sometimes, but it must be done if we expect to receive forgiveness ourselves.
I think Elizabeth was a lesser weasel than her husband. Fighting cancer and trying desperately to stay beside her children for every remaining minute means she may have had to take a lot of his cr@p, including not telling the American people what scum he was, for fear he would take away her kids.
As a mom, I sympathize with her “trapped and dying” situation. She didn’t know how many months she would have to be with her kids, to give them as much of he as she was able.
She owed her kids every breath she had, and that is a higher priority for a mother than warning us — she probably figured that one day we would all find out what a loser this guy was, and she was right.
If Mr. Edwards wishes to confront Elizabeth, he may, but that would involve a change in venue.
At this point, however, her statements would be used as evidence if properly constructed, and the acuser would be the State or Federal Government.
Like it or not, the same logic has been used in every case where an anonymous tip has led to an arrest.
Saint Elizabeth and the Ego Monster excerpt from Game Change page 3
No one in the Edwardses political circle felt anything less than complete sympathy for Elizabeths plight. And yet the romance between her and the electorate struck them as ironic nonethelessbecause their own relationships with her were so unpleasant that they felt like battered spouses. The nearly universal assessment among them was that there was no one on the national stage for whom the disparity between public image and private reality was vaster or more disturbing.
Having seen the photo of Weiner's Woody, I'll bet 'Slim Ball' is Little Anthony's street name.
Maybe if I bold it.
Contradict those words of God Himself if you will. I will take His word for it.
Yup! Just look at Game Change. Horrible revelations.
I’m not expressing myself very well.
yes God washes away our sin. On Judgement Day the unsaved will face Jesus on the White Throne and be judged.
The saved will face Jesus who will review what we’ve done and be rewarded in Heaven accordingly. At least thats what the Bible says.
None of which changes this situation. I’m not judging her soul, just her actions while she was on this earth. her getting cancer and dying does not make her a saint.
Dear one, Romans 14:10 - 12. The difference is as forgiven we will not be punished for our sins.
Yeah I was shocked. I had some sympathy for her until I read the excerpt.
The difference is that we who have been forgiven will be judged and rewarded for the things we have done for the Lord. Our sins have been forgotten.
