He says there was nothing indecent going on. Do we have any reason to believe anything he says, though? I’m just spitballing here, but he may, just may, be only admitting to as much as he absolutely has to. And with Patterico’s prosecutorial brief, lying about not tweeting with any minor at all became untenable.
Rep. Anthony Weiner sent private electronic messages to a 17-year-old Delaware girl but maintains there was nothing inappropriate in his communications with her.
In a statement to Roll Call Friday evening, the New York Democrat’s spokeswoman Risa Heller said, “According to Congressman Weiner, his communications with this person were neither explicit nor indecent.”
Heller’s statement comes after the New Castle County Police Department questioned the girl Friday afternoon, according to Fox News, which said it had reporters present at the home when police arrived.
Weiner became a “follower” of the girl, who is 17, on Twitter in April, and subsequently sent her direct messages. The content of those messages was unknown Friday.
Their content won’t be unknown forever, Weiner. Keep lawyerin’ up.
What I’d like to know is, when Mr. Weiner tweets his genitals, how do you know it’s his genitals and not his mug shot?
I can understand politicians having to set up a Twitter account, but I don’t understand why they would “follow” anyone.

Haha, he doesn’t even have credibility with his own staff, not that they care since he’s their paycheck. Birds of a feather since there are no reports of a mass walkout in protest of his behavior.
Late week when he had his press conference, he said none of the girls were underage, now he admits it was an underage girl. If he knows now, why didn’t he know then?
He also says the contact wan not indecent. The police had better get a search warrant to double check his statement. Asking the victim, won’t cut it. She could be covering for him.
Few days later he’ll then admit they were indecent.

We've got an economy collapsing in on itself and a pres__ent who's busy planning his vacation at Camp David, and even Fox is all Wiener all the time. I can't stand seeing that June 6 non-apology. If this guy had any decency at all he'd just step down.

That's how much sympathy Tony had for a fellow Congress-critter embroiled in some sort of a sexually tinged cruising operation ~ kind of like Tony's in fact ~ followed the same pattern.
The only thing different, as far as we know, is Eric was tickling young guys and Tony was "following" underage girls!

So did Weiner sent tweets to teenage boys? if so was he just campaigning for the future? If so why contact a girl in Delaware?she cant vote for him. Did he have a habit of tweeting people for no reason all over the country?
