I thought the way his hair stood up on front was kind of dorky, in an old-guy sort of way.

He got a pass on me on that score.

Cheers!

“Yup, another Texas Bush...”

Though born and raised in Texas, Bush’s ivy league education, and his “blue blood” New England roots, made for a mixed bag at best.......”Compasionate (NE RINO) Conservative (Texan) sums it up.

I, for one, am sick of East Coast “conservatives” ...... Romney, Brown, Guliani, Snowe, Collins, Spectre, Bloomberg, Pappy Bush, etc. and their “Inside the Beltway” political pundits....Brooks, Krystal, Krauthammer, etc.

I heard the same about another would-be candidate but, when it came down to it, they would end up voting for him/her to send a certain current officeholder home.

As I said, Perry has flaws. The TTC is dead, however, and I think he learned a lesson. The “access” to the school system is the least of its problems: Sodomites and libtards of every stripe already have “unfettered access” to Texas’ government school inmates (aka “children”). Perry is no worse than other R governors on this, and the real fault lies with parents who love their middle-class welfare entitlement of “free” government daycare. Conservatives are especially hypocritical about this.

You’re wrong.

The TTC is laying in wait, like Cap and Trade, waiting to be implemented one executive order at a time.

You know, most Texas conservatives were forced into voting for Rick Perry in his last two elections because he was the lesser of two (or three) evils.

I really don't want to be forced into giving him my vote in 2012 for the same damn reason again.

I disagree. Perry was hit so hard on that that I don’t think he wants to go anywhere near the issue. We’ll see what happens. I do agree that the TTC is one of several appalling things Perry has done or attempted to do.

I really don’t either but, these are the cards we’re being dealt.

Sad thing is, Perry’s credentials are better than all of the current GOP field combined.

Well, that'll change in a flash when Sarah jumps in.

Perry might fool some into believing that he's responsible for the Texas economic miracle, but Sarah's the Complete Package. Perry can't hold a candle to her.

Palin/Perry = Reagan/Bush.

'Nuff said.
