Hazard Police arrested one woman Tuesday as part of an undercover investigation into prostitution in the downtown area.

Nannie “Missy” Adams, 33, of Leatherwood, is facing one count of prostitution after police say she offered to perform sexual acts on an undercover officer with Kentucky Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) in return for $40. She was additionally charged with loitering for prostitution purposes.

As I've said, every government entity has usurped police powers. There are no longer "Mission Specific" rules for all these agencies. Alcohol Beverage Control, Fish and Wildlife, Department of Homeland Security, all one big happy family keeping the citizenry in line!

I had jobsites in Hazard in the early 70’s and visited downtown often. Even though very young, I was recognizable as being from out of town. The locals would literally run across or down the street to get there first to beg for money. That Hazard was a very poor place

True story. I’ve noticed that trend for many years.
Did you read the caption on the picture? A major is escorting the prisoner out of the police station. Good grief, the charge is a chippy prostitution/soliciting not mass murder.
