Hope everyone takes the time to watch Stephen Bannon’s briefing yesterday.

Very powerful endorsement of the Governor from a brilliant man.

You got THAT right!
Check out the line in THIS review of that "Bloggers Briefing" yesterday.
From Tina Korbe, at hotair.com:
"The Undefeated," the story of Sarah Palin’s rise to prominence, debuted in private screenings here in D.C. to mixed reviews. The Heritage Foundation’s Robert Bluey (and my former boss!) described it as "a powerful story of an amazing woman, but also a sad tale of a life changed forever." Here at Hot Air, Ed called it "a terribly flawed film."
But neither alloyed praise nor pure criticism threaten the confidence of the film’s producer, conservative filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon, a self-described close personal friend of Andrew Breitbart’s. (The two share office space in L.A.)

You can’t come out of the second act and see what she did in Alaska and not have respect for her as a serious person who takes on big issues in a big way," Bannon said today at The Heritage Foundation Bloggers Briefing.

Without having seen the film, I can’t verify that statement — but it says a lot about Bannon’s belief in Sarah Palin, in addition to his confidence in his own abilities as a filmmaker.

Somehow, it’s hard to mistrust him — mainly because, in plainspoken language, he pegs the pride of what he calls "the conservative intelligentsia" with pinprick specificity. (Bannon himself is a Harvard Business School alum and formerly of Goldman Sachs — so, presumably, he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to the academically-minded elite.)

-- snip --

"What I found in doing the research was a person … who had gone after — at every level — the Gordian knot problems that get to the heart of what makes a community thrive," Bannon said. "What I saw in this woman was someone of as much intelligence, tenacity and drive as anyone I’ve ever worked with. … Through her own grit, determination, capability and intellect, she rose to prominence and it’s not because she’s a media darling — it’s because of a tremendous amount of accomplishments."
No review I read made me really want to see the film — but listening to Bannon at The Bloggers Briefing today did.

And when you say Steve Bannon, you mean Pissant.
No, I mean the Stephen K. Bannon who previously directed THESE conservative powerhouses.

From www.imdb.com:

2010 Battle for America (documentary)

2010 Fire from the Heartland (video documentary)

2010 Generation Zero (documentary)

Ed isn’t a conservative he’s a Republican. As you know there is a difference.

VERY impressive! Needs to get out there to the
masses .. are theaters lined up nationwide?
God bless Sarah and her family.

SO heartened to hear Breitbart calls out the pubbie
spineless, ruling class pubbies .. they need to be
taken out behind the barn.

~~~~~
“This is not to say this section doesn’t pack its punches, one of which is a particularly impassioned prosecutorial indictment of the Republican party establishment. (Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, along with House leaders John Boehner and Eric Cantor, might want to step out for popcorn at this point.)
Breitbart in particular gets a memorable denunciation of “eunuchs” on the cultural right in Washington and New York City.
There’s some extraneous commentary, but Levin does astutely note that the Palin campaign rallies in autumn 2008 can easily be seen as embryonic Tea Party rallies, and the film ably contends that Palin’s values and approach to governing experienced a vivid national vindication in the historic Republican wins in the 2010 midterms.
This appears to be why Bannon picked the title The Undefeated, already being mocked by the familiar chorus. One of the last comments from Breitbart is, “Thank God Sarah Palin refused to accept the premise of her own destruction.”
And that’s just what they are: eunuchs
Bannon notes that the film implicitly contrasts two images of Palin: First her convention debut, on a bright stage, in perfectly polished form (her choice to dress in off-white looks almost symbolic in retrospect), and then her appearance on a rainy, gray day in Wisconsin in spring 2011, politically bruised but unyielding, much farther along in her life’s journey and much more tested by hardships, setbacks, and the difficult climb confronted by any great protagonist.
Because of the Tea party enthusiasm that she generates and her own steadfastness. She will win in 2012.
I believe you’re right .. the Tea Party masses will
be even louder and more intense .. and Sarah’s right up there, speaking their very clear message.
Here's what we know as of June 9, from Dave Weigel, at Palin, the Movie: Coming July 15:
"The Undefeated" is being screened for D.C. reporters all day, with the film's director Steve Bannon on hand to answer questions.
After the screening I saw, Bannon revealed that the movie would start to arrive in theaters on July 15, in a limited release in a couple of states. (Andy Barr says the states include, funny enough, Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina.) The movie now has a distributor, Cinedyne, and its ad campaign will start up next week.
"Every day next week, there'll be another announcement," said Bannon.
-- snip --
...Palin herself won't be involved in the promotion of the film.
Bannon didn't want to involve her in the production in any way; he just showed the completed film to Todd and Sarah, and was pleased when they were "blown away." Palin's voice does appear in the film as clips from the Going Rogue audiobook, which Bannon licensed...
-- snip --
...The movie cost $1 million to make, and Bannon was perfectly confident that it would succeed. Ideally it would break big with a mass audience, but even if it didn't, there was a built-in crowd.
"There's enough Palinistas out there, although I certainly didn't make this for the Palinistas," he said. "They know this stuff anyway.
I made it for a middle class audience that doesn't really know anything about her, doesn't know what she's really accomplished..."
-- snip --
...I'll have a full review of the movie tomorrow; for now, I can say that Bannon went into detail about a release strategy that made much more sense than the release of Atlas Shrugged, before anyone goes and makes that comparison.
"It's very unusual for a documentary, unless it's a Michael Moore documentary, to get into a theater, to have a major theatrical release," he said. "People aren't used to seeing a documentary that's two hours long and about a political figure. Not in summer.
The SVOD, VOD, pay-per-view guys, say this is a perfect product for us -- this is something families can order and sit around and watch."
Very nice SLinen....but she is going to keep on getting hammered...expect it and they will be more relentless than before. Will pull out all the stops as the time draws near..no doubt about it.
Have joined the prayer list for Palin.....and her team. They will need it to go up against the hoard that’s after her.
I love what he said about taking the best governor this country has ever had, look at their most productive 18 months and compare it to Governor Palin's. She will beat their record. I hope Americans will see who she really is and what she can do for all of us.
