It's kind of fun to watch former MSM "reporters" turn into totally-out, liberal partisans once they leave their "reporting" gigs.
Take Bob Franken. For years a big-time national correspondent for CNN, the network let him go in 2007. Franken is now free to let his liberal freak flag fly. Witness Bob on MSNBC this evening. Commenting on Tim Pawlenty's tax-cut proposal, Franken fulminated that the former Minnesota governor is planning nothing less [cue spooky music] than to lead an "oligarchy" in which the rich would be "buying back the government." Franken also took a scatalogical shot at "trickle-down" economics.

Former CNN ‘correspondent’ Bob Franken accuses Pawlenty of planning an “oligarchy.” Ping to Today show list.
Of course I have a natural affinity for a politician that says, in essence "I screwed up, I had my head in my a$$...but I see the light now".
That is essentially what Pawlenty did in the "first" GOP debate on Cap n Trade.
Compared to Romney he's a rock-ribbed (c)onservative.
Related to his cousin Al, I have a song stuck in my head......
“But they’re cousins, identical cousins all the way;
they laugh alike, they walk alike, at times they even talk alike.
You can lose your mind ... when cousins are two of a kind”
Wouldn’t plutocracy be a more accurate term? Or perhaps, oligarchic plutocracy ... or plutocratic oligarchy?
Bitter, bitter , bitter...
Yeah. Everyone knows that if Pawlenty (really any Republican) got in, the first thing they’d do is start appointing Czars to do things without Congressional approval or oversight. Oh, wait.......
No way. Might beat Alf on a good day.
But compared to The Flying Nun or Mr. Ed I don't think it has a chance.
Only one problem, Einstein. Hardly any of Obama’s followers have the faintest idea what an “oligarchy” is, or care.
Oh. When I said “Einstein,” it wasn’t in reference to you glgb. Except in a good way, of course.
Frankenstein...
Pawlenty? Nah, too controversial.
You left off the hilarious part of the lyrics, especially considering the decade. “But Patty loves to rock & roll, a hotdog makes her lose control.”
Uncanny resemblance.
