Words mean nothing. Back up your statement with action. Fire Rollins and make a personal apology to Palin.

Hiring Rollins was the first executive decision of her supposed Presidential run. It shows a tremendous lack of executive acumen to pick a Washington insider hack to run a campaign that is supposed to represent the tea party outsiders.

MB waited until the 2nd day to respond?

Sorry, damage has been done and MB exposed as a stalking horse for Romney to dilute Sarah’s support in exchange for VP slot with the Myth.

"The statement came in the wake of an adviser to Palin pushing back hard on comments from Bachmann strategist Ed Rollins, and is clearly aimed at dialing down the growing war.

Hmmm, I wonder if Rollins will soon be out of a job. If Michele is all what she seems to be, she will rid herself of him immediately!

Too little, too late and as such, it’s unbelievable.

Bachmann is done.... she gave her future to Ed Rollins.

Is this it? A statement from an advisor about Palin? Not a statement from MB herself? Maybe a personal call from MB to SP.

I will not assume that what Politico printed is all there is to the story, but if it is all there is to the story, then I think we can assume these two are not getting along.

I want the candidates to convince me that they are the best choice based on their support of the Constitution, the Republic, their views and that their candidacy is being pursued not for themselves but for the good of the country. Trashing their conservative opponents means to me that they have no other selling points. I don’t care what political office they have held or if they have ever been a CEO or a military leader since that is what we have in too many elected already and we know where that has brought us. I don’t discount those experiences but they do not impart any assurance that they are real conservatives with a vision for taking back the country and Constitution.

I would currently be behind Cain, Palin or Bachmann and I despise the RINO has-beens like mitt the twit, newt or any of that entrenched GOP “leadership” bunch.

After the decision of a candidate is made it is time for all conservatives to get behind that ticket and for the primary candidates who were not chosen to get behind the ticket. This has to be a united front that will fight tooth and nail. Our fascist democrat party enemies will not play nice and will lie, cheat and steal the election if we are not united against them.

Bachmann’s staff must be perusing Free Republic today and saw that they are in deep doo-doo with Conservatives.

THAT’S IT?

LOL! I guess Michele is following Obama’s example by leading from the rear and having a Jim Carney clone read this content free pap from:

Hallmark Cards Political Niche All Purpose
Empty And Insincere and Uncaring Rack

I’ll ask Knute and Nancy to make room on the loser sofa for ya Michele!

Prove it Michele, and fire that little asswipe Rollins.

If not - empty words. If the guy you hire does not reflect your opinions, there is only one thing to do.

This is equivalent to Weiner sending out a staff person to ‘apologize’. Michele needs to dump Rollins, disavow his comments and make a personal apology to Sarah Palin. Is she doesn't, then both she AND Rollins are history.

If there was any question that Michele Bachmann's candidacy for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination was an attempt by the GOP hierarchy to 'stop Sarah Palin', this bland response to the blowback from Ed Rollins diatribe against Palin issued by a staffer and with not a peep from Bachmann, herself, erases all doubt. I contend that Bachmann was offered the VP spot on a Romney ticket - and went for it, assuming that if the RNC is working against Palin and for Romney, their pet, he is bound to win the GOP nomination. Bachmann has made a gigantic error, ignoring the fact that the TEA party is not some one-off, flash-in-the-pan group but a large contingent of very angry, patriotic Americans who are fed up to the eyeballs with 'politics as usual' and especially, the GOP 'elites' that think Sarah Palin isn't 'worthy' of their imprimatur.

With this move, Bachmann will soon find herself bereft of conservative support - and rightly so. Our great nation is imperiled by Obama and his Marxist/Alinsky policies. Sarah Palin remains the only solid conservative with a good chance of defeating Obama in 2012. She isn't power-hungry, just loyal to her country. She can continue to reap large financial rewards and avoid a lot of vicious attacks from the left (and right, in some cases) by sitting on the sidelines in the 2012 presidential election. I doubt Palin will do so. She is a fighter and she will fight to regain the White House for the people, not the political cronies and 'insiders'. This is what the GOP elites fear, with good reason, and why Michele Bachmann is being (willingly, I assume) used to block a presidential run by Sarah Palin. It will fail, as it should..
