Ten Commandments to return to Giles County schools [with poll]
By Katelyn Polantz 381-1669
PEARISBURG -- The Ten Commandments will return to the walls of Giles County schools, after a school board majority vowed Tuesday to dig in for what could be a long and costly court battle.
The board voted 3-2 Tuesday afternoon to rehang the Commandments among a display of nine other historical documents.
About 50 people stayed silent while the board began its meeting. Many of the attendees have prayed and pressed for this outcome since the district first removed the documents from school halls in December amid pressure to take them down.

There is also a poll, with the story....the Poll reads:
Do you agree with the Giles County School Board’s decision to rehang the Ten Commandments among a display of other historical documents?
They are hanging with other historical documents. People in Giles County are up in arms about the Yankees forcing their anti-free speech views on the people of the county. The school is now surrounded with billboards of the Big 10.
The polls has been FReeped.

I suspected that this was just a bunch of Yankee transplants raising a ruckus. I’m originally from Wise County so it’s great to see people from Southwestern VA digging in their heels over this. I hope that the ACLU finds out the hard way that Appalachia isn’t New York and we don’t run from a fight. Besides, what are they going to do, stamp their feet and force us to believe their hatred? The Courts can only function as long as people submit to their rules.
They can sue the school system and collect money for legal fees if they win. All they need is a friendly anti-Christian judge.
That’s my point though. What happens if they sue, win and refuse to submit to the Judge’s order? What happens if the County, as a whole, just goes Galt on them?
Basically they keep suing until the county runs out of money. These anti-Christian Hate groups use the courts to break the banks of the innocent. They resemble Nazis in a lot of ways.
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin, if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)
Im handling Dynachromes FReep a Poll pings until he returns. Errors and omissions during that time are solely my fault and should cease upon his return.
It’s getting down to the wire, folks. When a question like this is “controversial,” we are in deep trouble.
We must take back our schools starting right now. As it is, we will have to wait out three generations of children who have been indoctrinated in the schools to be good little godless commies.

Well, they do it here at SCOTUS :
Half of the Supreme Court and most of Congress think the Constitution is controversial.
Pole needs FReeping at this link...
The point is that if the county refuses to pay and does not submit to what we would consider an illegal court and people like me and paladin1_dcs and millions of other patriots join in we will defeat the bastards. Or, if not at least we will not submit to this tyranny any longer. It is getting to the point where this will be our only opportunity to return America.
Is it known that they are Yankees? If so, from what state? I’d like to see if their state has the 10 commandments hung and if they ever made an such an attempt in their state.
Yeah. Don’t make me cry, AZ.
The Nazis will send in the lawyers to go after the school board and bankrupt them. They only need to defeat about 6 people.
God Bless these good, brave Christians...keep them safe from evil.
