When a liberal Democrat from NY looses the support of Salon...well, it looks bad careerwise. Real bad. Like he has lost all direction, his support gone south, his political future has gone limp, his stock deflated...

This may be my last double entendre on WeinerGate (until I come up with my next ones).

I'm surprise you haven't touched on the legal aspects, such as whether any charges will stand up in court, when he will submit a brief, and the magic word "subpoena."

Indeed. It's an indication that his fellow Lefties now consider him to be a liability going in to 2012. They can't deal with too many liabilities in 2012.
