“If he were to run, Rick Perry would be a very strong candidate.”

I totally agree with you. Well said! I really don’t understand all the Perry bashing myself.

Yes, he’s made mistakes. So has everyone else. Yes, the TTC and the vaccine might not have been great moves, but, as you said, if those things are the worst things he’s done, I can live with that, also.

Yes, RINOs exist, but I think the RINO witch hunt has gotten out of hand and there are FAR worse “Republicans” that are worthy of the designation, “RINO,” than Gov. Perry.

People are like, “He was a Democrat!” Your point? People can have a change of heart! Ronald Reagan was a very liberal Democrat as Governor of California and he ended up being one of the greatest conservative presidents America has ever had.

Again, Gov. Perry is not perfect, but last time I checked, there was only one perfect man that ever walked this earth.

Perry has a very strong record and things like his so-called “secessionist” comments have been blown way out of context.

I mean, really, I know we all loathe Romney (and for good reason!), but can’t we give Perry a chance?

'..can’t we give Perry a chance'

We'd better start giving someone a chance and get solidly behind him!

Tearing apart our prospective candidates is only helping out the libs.

If you don't like a Republican candidate, then STFU.

The Libs don't need our help in that department.
