It’s not that they adore Weiner, it’s their ideological assumptions showing through -

since he’s an elected leftist, he is “special”, and therefore deserves to get away with things commoners wouldn’t.

The reason that “common” leftists support this view is that they think that THEY are “special” as well.

What’s even worse, is that our tax dollars pay these scumbags’ salaries and benefits. Since they work for us, why can’t we fire them? We can’t depend on Congress policing itself - that just doesn’t happen - drain the swamp you say? They are the swamp.

Actually, they all did say they really, really like him. For my part, I used intentional language in my post in order to make two discretely off-color remarks.

However, since you raise the issue, I would guess the honest truth is that what these liberal, urban ditz-brains love most about Weiner is his unshakeable commitment to unrestricted, taxpayer-funded abortion on demand.
