You make such a good point...I guess I was just happier not knowing. I’m all for exposing corruption- but damn I don’t want to know what entertainers think about politics and I don’t want to know how politicians are entertained..
Chuck Schumer, for all his flaws, actually had some potential at a young age. He attended Harvard University (I believe he scored a perfect 1600 on his SATs in high school) and went to Harvard Law School, and passed the bar exam in New York State even though he has never practiced law. My guess is that he got into politics because: (1) he saw himself as a public crusader of some kind; and/or (2) he simply couldn't handle a career in law.
Anthony Weiner, whose first job out of college was on Schumer's staff (when Schumer was the Congressman representing Weiner's current district) back in the early 1980s, is a different story altogether. He attended the State University of New York (Plattsburgh) and aspired to be a TV weather reporter, but got into politics when that didn't work out. The guy never went to graduate school, has never held a real job in his life, and is a complete loser with a reputation for bullying his own staff . . . who has been reduced to "sexting" with strange women all over the U.S. because he's gotten to the House of Representatives and learned that, in the larger scheme of things, he really hasn't accomplished sh!t in his life.
