When you’re looking for doo-doo, you’ll think you see some until you get close and pay attention to what’s actually there. Lesson: the doo-doo is on your own spectacle lens.

Palin merely stated that Paul Revere “warned the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms.” An accurate statement, verified by scholars of history.

Any spin coming from Palin herself? No. (Another lesson in how to pay attention to what’s actually there.)

Palin fooled a lot of people. Some might have the grace to admit it, but I haven’t heard any yet.

Paul Revere primarily “warned the Patriots that the British were coming to try to take their weapons cache”. He didn’t get around to “warning the British” until he was caught and I hardly think he planned that. And did he really “warn” them or “advise” them? Anyone who looks at this with clear eyes will admit that she was trying to reference his legendary “Ride” and not his post-capture actions.

She bungled the timeline. The idol worshipping whirling dervish contingent needs to get over it. It isn’t the first gaffe and certainly won’t be the only. It’s okay, really.

And no one has responded to the real issue, which is the delivery was extremely cringe-worthy. Very Zeroish.
