Peshawar, June 6, 2011 Student of Peshawar university has staged a rally against the university management on Monday. More then 200 hundreds students of different department start rally from Peshawar University gate which come through different roads and finish near PUTA hall Peshawar University.
Students kept up the banners in hands about their demands and shout slogan against the vice chancellor decision about exam. Student blames the university management that they didn’t cover the curriculum, because university was close because of flood.
Student said that after the kidnapping of the vice chancellor of Islamia University Mr. Ajmal khan university academic block was put up the shutters down because of security reason and student didn’t cover their studies.
UOP student’s protester gives 3 day deadline to the management and said “if they didn’t postpone the final exam of master students will come out on roads against the management and till the acceptance of the demands student will be on roads.
During student protest more then 2 platoon police has covered the protester, after the 3 hours protests students were dispersed peacefully
