After a week of facing questions about lewd Twitter photos, Rep. Anthony Weiner Saturday had more explaining to do: why his Nissan Pathfinder has New York license plates but a 2007 registration sticker.
A photo of Weiner behind the wheel of his more than 20-year-old SUV appeared in Saturday's Daily News as he left his Washington home Friday night.
((snip))
In March, the Roll Call, a Capitol Hill newspaper, reported Weiner owed more than $2,000 in parking tickets for violations around the Capitol and near Reagan National Airport.

So, aren’t his license plates expired? I couldn’t insure or drive my car without current plates, how can he? This is infuriating. If I had a bunch of unpaid tickets, I’d get arrested.
Apply a few common traffic laws to this arrogant @#$%^&*.

Exactly. Out here in California, there is no way under the sun you could go four years with an expired registration sticker. Even if the cops never pulled you over, the DMV would be all over that.
To: Judith Anne
Yes, his plates are expired, an infraction that would garner you or me a significant fine and/or towing of our vehicles. He avoids this by having his "Congress" placard on his dash.
Weiner has got to be the most arrogant POS to ever occupy a seat in congress.

They’re from the California DMV website. That considered, they’re probably at least three years old.

The progressive control freak drives a 1991 Nissan Pathfinder which averages 15 mpg.
Weiner is a Gaia killer, to boot.

democRATs are hypocrites when it comes to paying taxes. And vehicle license fees are taxes.
Wasserman Schultz is a pig. I like that she heads the DNC as having such a pig as the face of the DNC is priceless.

My son got pulled over the other day for having his registration sticker on the wrong part of his license plate. It must be nice to be a big shot.

I was many months late back in college (late 70s). I don't recall what it cost me but I'm sure it was a lot considering what limited funds I had at the time.
We all use the roads. Those of us who don't pay their licensing fees aren't paying for their use of the roads. I hate deadbeats.
