To me, Piper seems to have more perceptive powers concerning how to handle herself in front of the cameras than her older siblings. She is certainly not in awe of them nor intimidated by them.

She has to have seen TV reports of her and her family and perhaps even ugly ones. It does not seem to have caused to be sullied by it all. In fact she seems to be as natural as ever, and totally uncaring WHAT the press thinks about her.

So maybe she does have a more assertive, less submissive air about her than a lot of females her age or older. I see that as a positive, self-confient character trait, rather than a bratty one.

I've noticed the same thing. She seems to always be right up front and center with Sarah, and appears to be perfectly at ease with everything going on around her.

A real natural, that kid.

Jeanne Moos’ schtick is warm-hearted snarkiness, so I’ll give her a pass. She’s been at it for 30 years or so.

I don’t think it’s a fantasy, more like a sad truth. Look at what Meghan McCain says, and the coverage she receives, and our opinions on what she says. Before she wanted to say anything, it was “And here’s John McCain’s wife, Cindy, and his family...”

Now it’s “The latest thing Meghan McCain, daughter of Senator John McCain has said...”

I understand your confusion but Meghan McCain is not ten years old. That wasn’t what I meant was a fantasy anyway.
