Isn’t that their intention—to make you sick enough to quit and become government dependent—or maybe a democRAT donor with exceptions and waivers?
I think most people are motivated by the desire for order and goodness.
Public schools. Most people spend their formative years, 18 years in a highly controlled, safe, predictable environment. The bell rings, it’s time to go to class. Bell rings, move to another class. Bell rings, time to eat. Bell rings, time to sit. Bell rings time to stand up. All very predictable. Very orderly. Textbooks are created to spoon feed information. WWII might have a page and half. Textbooks have little chapter quizzes that follow sequentially the text. All predictable, controlled and orderly. The chapter quizzes, predictably create the basis for the mid term exam, and the final exam.
So these little sheeple get out of school. What do they demand? The demand order. They demand safety. They demand predictability and risk aversion. These little sheeple will give up anything to feel safe. They will bleat for seat belt laws and speed traps. They will bleat for for free health care and a financial safety net. They will bring cops, guns, tasers and boots onto your head if they think order, safety and predictability is at risk.
Most importantly, they want the means to control others to secure the predictable orderly environment they demand.
