Trying to bring back the concepts of national sovereignty, freedom, liberty is like pushing string through a pipe. Herding cats.
To sell a new form of tyranny, all a politician has to do is invoke safety or children and stupid villagers will cut off there own arms and eat them to end hunger.
The Constitution, it’s enumerated powers was set up to limit the damage caused by the ignorant feckless public and the purposeful exploitative politicians. But since we don’t use that document anymore we are screwed. screwed by apathy. Screwed by people who want to harness the full power and force of government to make sure that safety is mandated. So “Safety, and Justice for All” is the new model for this dying and feckless vapor of it’s former greatness.
I will keep on fighting here in VA. I am actually encouraged by what is happening here. Ultimately, we deserve the kind of government we have. If our public is ignorant, feckless,a and apathetic, then we deserve to fail as a nation. We are no longer worthy of the Constitution and the vision of our Founders.
