President Obama's gut-level identification with the Palestinians has become obvious to voters, including many habitual Democrat supporters in the Jewish community. Billionaire big donor Haim Saban very publicly announced he will no longer contribute to President Obama, signaling to other Jewish donors that it is time to bail on a president who publicly calls for 1967 borders as the basis for a settlement.
This 30 second ad, produced by the Emergency Committee for Israel, is also giving heartburn to the Obamites, particularly because it uses pro-Israel Democrats to demonstrate Obama's position as out-of-step with the mainstream.

I never could figure out the supposed Jewish vote.....
Growing up I had 2 jewish families for neighbors.....both were conservative Republicans....go figure.
Look to the Jimmy Carter vote to get an idea of what happens when an anti-Semite is the candidate.
Obama will do better than Carter, but in key states like Fla & Pa with large Jewish populations, the Dems will have a problem.
Doubtful that Pennsylvania’s fewer than 150,000 Jewish voters will make much difference there.
and raising momey from others. Saban was a huge fundraiser. He can vote for Obama all he wants. Just don’t campaign for him.
Somehow I missed this when you first posted it. I just got through reading the whole article and watching the commercial. Wow—just WOW! This has really bucked me up.
It appears Little Barry is losing it. He’s alienating a lot of voting blocks, which he was careful not to do early in his term. The image of him at the Memorial Day service, frantically chewing gum [nicorette, no doubt], and then racing to the golf course, tells the story. He’s coming unglued—and not a moment too soon.
If he gets only 55%, I’ll consider that major progress.
Puzzles the hell out of me why Jews/Blacks/Hispanics vote Democrat. Can’t think of any party/group that has acted -in concert - more to the detriment of these minorities than the Democrats. Hell, I suspect they’d get a better deal from the American Nazi party !! >PS
Did you live by me.
Yes. He has lost it. But conservatives have a ways to go to get back in the White House...
What did he really gain by his bigoted anti Israel stance?
No. He doesn't.
Those who voted for him the first time will vote for him again.
Just google "battered wife syndrome".
Maybe the Irish born witch can go back to where she belongs and plague them as she has plagued us!
Between Obama’s overt anti-Semitism and Weiner’s weenie, that very well may happen. People know sleeze when they see it.
You are painting with too broad of a brush. The Jewish vote for Obama in 2008 was probably about 70% at most. (It was overstated by an exit poll using statistically inaccurate polling techniques, and bounced around the Net as if it were the word of G-d.) Next year, assuming that "Osama" Obama is still on the ballot as the 'Rat, and assuming that the economy is still very weak, look for his percentage among Jews to shrink to the 50s.
How on earth could any Jewish person believe that only government should have guns? Their grandparents learned the harshest possible lesson about what happens when regular citizens are disarmed...
From this Jewish perspective, if you are referring to Nazi Germany and the Holocaust, I tend to agree with you there. Israel does have a considerable presence of home gun ownership. Here in the US, where most Jews live in urban and suburban environments, there is a tendency in such a milieu to think that private gun ownership does more harm than good. However, there is an American-based Jewish organization specifically dedicated to the preservation of gun ownership rights.
Only 23 Congressional Districts have 10% or more Jewish voters. These districts are overwhelming Democrat in any case. If American Jews did cast their votes based on what was good for Israel, they would be attacked on Free Republic for having dual loyalties, same as they are continually attacked now.

Bump away “engineer.” You don’t like my prediction about the Jewish vote in ‘12? Deal with it. It’s not my fault that a large majority of American Jews are little more than useful idiots for the Democratic party.
You are pure evil.
You are a big drama queen.
Also, good point in How did 2% of the vote determine the election? -- quite correct, even if 90% did vote, that's only 1,8% of the electorate that made the mistake (btw, I think the % of followers of Judaism in the US is 1,76%)
