Human tranquilizers do not always interact in quite the same way on canine as human systems.
Ketamine for animals, Vicoden and Perkoset for humans. Ketamine can also be used on humans, but it is not recommended, unless you want to feel like gumby for 12 hours.
I dunno...I’ve heard more than one vet recommendation for a small dose of Benadryl to animals of various sorts with respiratory symptoms. Not sure about being used as a tranquilizer, but I do know a tiny pinch dissolved in a rat’s water bottle was supposedly quite helpful.
No, I don’t know how it worked, or why, and for all I know it was simply voodoo and the final dose was meaninglessly tiny. I do know the rat’s owner swore the vet told her to do it and the rat seemed immensely more comfortable after.
Dude.
I AM Gumby for 12 hours.
I want to feel HUMAN again.
