SEABROOK, N.H. En route to a clambake on the beach here Thursday evening, Sarah Palin stopped at the Yankee Fishermens Cooperative to talk with fishermen and pet a lobster.
And though she left her bus at the hotel where she and her family will be spending the night to travel by SUV, Palin confirmed that the One Nation tour would soon continue, telling local ABC affiliate WMUR that she intends to take the tour West after a few days off.
At the fishing docks, the 2008 vice presidential nominee spent much of her time with Charles Felch, a fisherman for 44 years and owner of the Lady Victoria, a cod and lobster fishing boat.

Palin used the opportunity to rail against recently tightened fishing regulations, which she said have hit New Hampshire fishermen especially hard because the states coastline was so short.
The regulations, Palin said, were the result of overly cautious environmental concerns.
Felch came away impressed.

‘Palin used the opportunity to rail against’——————
That’s example is exactly why I don’t read Politico...
LOL! Exhaust burns.
Hell, even mean old John Sununu dumped Romney to come see her.
ROTLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to go, Sarah! Kiss the regulator boys and make them cry.
Very wise to meet those mugs. I have been around the Seacoast for a long time and it was brillant visited those getting smashed by the weight of an out of control Federal Government and she did not go to Rye Beach, the home of many trust funds and Judas Gregg. Very smart move on her part, those remaining fisherman are hard as nails and understand what fighting means. If she gets that “crowd” on her side, Sununu will not leave Hampton Falls and Juddy will not leave the Abenaki greens for fear of getting a dose of “Seabrook” reality.
Are these federal regulations she is talking about? Or state?
Federal. Fishing Regs from NOAA, and National Marine Fishery Act is just insane and meant to destroy all New England fishing, and as you can imagine any gray area up for interpreation by this administration goes Stalin Left against these fisherman.
I am personal friends with several commercial fishing families out of Rye and Hampton Harbors, I don’t see how they survive year after year financially, yet quiting would be allowing the Feds to win and they will not quit nor will they submit. Going to be interesting to see how the GOP handle the Tea Party of which many NH Fisherman are a part of....
My favorite from the press today was criticism that she ate her New York pizza with a fork.
The media obviously are out of bullets!
Thanks for the information.
I got better idea how about Sarah Palin bring in the Deadliest catch crew members to NH with her that drive NH Libs NUTS

My son-in-law used to be in the business too . . . until all the federal regulations forced him out.

She can “catch a fish, fry ‘em in a pan and still make you feel like a natural man”. WTG Sarah!
Not only New England fishing . . . my son-in-law fished out of Florida, in the Gulf.
Well well well. That story was reported here on FR about a month ago. I am soooooo glad to hear her take up this fight.
It was someone here who remarked, wouldn’t it be nice to have a candidate who knew something about commerical fishing...oh wait!!!
Go Sarah!
Thing is they can’t touch Palin because they hit her so hard in 2008 and since. They trashed her with every imaginary thing they can think of, and since she is a reasonably moral person, she hasn’t given them anything real to go ofter her on.
They’ve shot their wad so all they can do is repeat what people are sick of hearing, or get very petty and look like asses.
The MSM can’t touch her. She is driving them mad. Too funny!
